“Mini zoo”

Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center
Reviewed 30 March 2014

A great place to see animals in cages, if thats your thing. Its a park which is a long way from Makati and Manila if there is traffic but its also a little refuge from the noise of the city. I just like the huge snakes and birds that they have.

For an entrance fee of Php8.00 for adults and Php5.00 for student and children, what could one rant for? It was a sunny day when I decided to get my camera and head to the Park. A lot of buildings are under renovation which gives me gladness since it means they are changing the Park for the better. It is a good educational place for kids to learn how to care for animals and their natural habitats. It is also a good chance to understand the diversity of species that are local to our country. I walk around, enjoyed the serene and relaxing scenery of the man-made lake, and took a few good snaps of lovely birds. It was to be close to nature.

This is a good place for family picnic. Young people can play some games because there is a lot of space to run and play. There is no restaurant inside but you can buy snacks and some drinks from the shop.

I found this little zoo quite sad. I like that the effort has been made to keep a zoo for families to visit - however the conditions that the animals live in are terrible. We saw a crocodile in an enclosure so small he couldn't turn around - could only walk a few steps forward or backward.
It felt very run down and sad.
The park area was much nicer though.

Nice place to spent bonding time with your family and friends there. Affordable entrance fee. Many trees inside the park...Neat and maintain by the staffs. Many animals to see. With many benches to sit in.So relaxing and lovely ambience in this park. Has a man-made lake-like/lagoon...Walking distance to Quezon City Circle... You can bring foods and drinks but be sure to throw your garbage in proper garbage disposal...

There is a lot of work going on in improving the facilities for students as well as tourist visitors. Various paths have been broken over the years by the underground activity of trees and in some places, the paths have become hazardous.

These are now being put right and it will make an even better place to visit.Unfortunately, many of the paths are inside the wildlife centre and so many of the animals cannot be viewed.

I understand that the work will be completed by March 2014 just in time for the start of School Holidays
