“basic good Filipino food with a flair”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

Some exciting dishes with a flair.. without sacrificing taste. Good understanding of the Filipino palate.. salt, sweet, sour.. savory. Price is affordable. Consistent... tried the Rockwell location. Same experience... better ambiance.

“A hearty home-cooked meal at a good price!”
Reviewed 26 March 2014 via mobile

Had the tostadong adobo + rice + iced tea for my merienda-dinner ...and out of all the restaurants in Powerplant, I think this was the most SULIT! For residents in Rockwell who are lazy to cook or drive far (ahem!) then this is the best home-cooked, affordable, real meal in the area. Will be coming back to try more from their menu.

“A Different Filipino Food Experience”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

First it looked like the typical Pinoy cooking - found the menu description interesting. Then came the dishes - the dishes basic taste were similar but tastier. The dinuguan [ pigs blood ] stew was something else. First they deep fried the pork to a crunch then mixed with the stew. Even the adobo was made more exciting.

“Tight space”
Reviewed 13 March 2014 via mobile

The food is good and it should be because this I as place run by a known local chef. However, there is limited parking and the place is too small for bigger groups that you will surely hit and bump some other diners during your meal. There is a bigger dining space on the second floor but the circular stairs going up could be a challenge, or an adventure!

“Still as good as the first day”
Reviewed 11 March 2014 via mobile

The first time I tried this place was during it's soft opening sometime 2012, (I think) and it has become one of my all time favorite "go to" restaurants. Good food, good service and real value for money. Instant faves were stuffed pechay, lechon kawali, crab pancit and reyna blanca. I've since been back (literally) a dozen times. However, before this Feb, the last time I visited was early 2013. So what has changed? Except for a few additions to the menu Nothing really - and this is a GOOD thing. Food is still great, staff are still efficient and still one of the best value for money this part of town.
