I've eaten my share of steaks and meat growing up playing sports and have had a lot of great flavors. This steak was right near the top or the best ever. Had a grade 8 ribeye and was an awesome experience. Their steaks are served on hot stone block that cooks it right in front you...really does make a mess but it was exciting. I used the grill to cook the veggies a little more. Only cut one piece at a time to get the full experience and try the salt. The rock salt gives it a nice punch and just typing this makes me drool. haha. Gotta try it! Only thing that I wished was I had enough room to try a dessert.

It's decades since we had a meal where there was a WOW factor with each course. The soup, wow, the steak WOW WOW and the desert wow.
We stumbled on this place by accident, and on looking at the menu we gagged a bit at the price, then noticed each steak was priced for two persons,
The experience was wonderful, the staff were superb and the wine choice was fine.
as McCarthy said. "I will return"

Every great steak meal comes at a price, and there's a reason why the Wagyu beef at Stonegrill is expensive-- it is that GOOD. It is definitely one of the best steaks there is you could ever try in Manila. In case you are not aware, the meat from Wagyu is of top quality, very high grade of beef known for its marbling characteristics. And the one they serve at this restaurant is certainly one of those melts-in-your-mouth, tender, and flavourful steak you could ever taste. Ditch the steak sauce or any condiments, for that matter, because it’s delicious just the way it is. You could use some salt and pepper, though.

For first timers, I recommend you order the big cuts which is about 700g (i.e., T-bone, porterhouse, rancher’s cut) because it’s cheaper compared to higher grade cuts that are smaller in portions and more expensive. For about P5,000 (USD$110) that’s already good for sharing. I have tried both, but in terms of taste, I couldn’t really distinguish the difference as the graded Wagyu is just as good as the giant cuts. With that amount you pay, the course already includes the soup of the day, complimentary bread and butter (which is so good!), steak rice or jasmine rice, and vegetable side dish. They also have other food dishes in the menu, but you should really come here for the steak. To complement your steak experience, better order some wine. They have an array of wines in the restaurant.

Here’s the thing: You get to cook your own steak and it’s up to you whether you like it rare, medium well, etc. Yes, they serve your steak on a hot stone and tell you exactly how to do it. Well, it’s seems a daunting task for some, but this option gives you the flexibility of having your steak the way you prefer it. You can even request for additional hot stones to make the grilling faster. To those who do not wish to do the cooking, you could politely ask the waiters to just do the grilling for you. The waiters are really attentive and well-trained so the service is just excellent, couldn’t find a fault in it. In terms of dining, advanced reservation is not necessary and you can just walk in anytime, unless you intend to dine with a big group.

So for all steak connoisseurs out there, this restaurant is definitely a must-try and worth every penny. Better yet, don’t count, so as not to spoil the experience. Happy eating!

P.S. They have other branches in Greenhills, SM Mall of Asia, and The Podium Mall.

They differentiated themselves by serving the steak half raw on top of a hot stone block grill, wherein you may cook the steak the way you want it. The place was well designed. The wine was good. The service also very good. The food was good- in fact the steak was great. Free bread and butter were served pre meal. And a free bowl of pumpkin soup came with each steak meal. But the price was too steep for what was offered. Luckily Metrobank credit card had a special of half off this month. At this price, the price was just right.
The smallest cut of a 200 gram steak costs P2,100 on the menu. The price climbs exponentially as the size increases. I recommend the "Duo" where you get a 180 gram steak served on the hot stone block, and you may choose from about 5 sidings (from Prawns & fries, Fish & chips, pasta, scallops etc). -picture attached.
It is a good experience, as this is the 3rd time I visited. On special occasions when you want to impress someone or to close a deal, it is a good option. But I would not come here on a regular basis.

wife wanted to eat a good steak so we saw this place 'wagyu'
thought it could compare to other wagyu steak houses in hk for the price.
but .. nope. steak were just ok.. we were happier with steak at the pepper steak
for 500 pesos. staff were sitting on the tables ready to go home as well, this kinda ruined our experience, plus waitresses were having their dinner in the bar and once we asked for cheque the waitress still had sauce on her mouth.
damage was 9700pesos including service charge plus tip 500
