“Old sophistication”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

Stayed at rembrandt for a night. Service was more than average, the hotel stayed true to its name by maintaining that old yet classical ambience. The hallway to my room and the room itself lacks adequate lighting. Though the bed was comfortable enough, the tv was old, and the room was not cleaned very well as I saw dust in some parts of the furnitures. Good thing there was free breakfast and it was quite good. The location was good as well as its very near to quezon circle and there's tgif just beside the hotel. All in all my stay was a bit satisfactory to say the least.

Room Tip: My room was at the corner so it was a bit bigger compared to their standard rooms.

we are stay because of the a two day seminar

the room was ok but it needs a few renovations

food was so-so to unacceptable. i ate a raw potato from their breakfast buffet

business center in unreliable. it has an old operation system (windows 98 by the look of it), the print was sub-standard and the cd drive won't open.

elevator would only carry a few people (the maximum was suppose to be 15 persons but you only take 6 persons more or less)

it a good hotel but not the best in the metro.

Room Tip: parking space in scares but try the space at the back of hotel. security will guard it there.

The hotel in general is outdated but the room we stayed in was surprisingly spacious. Parking can be very challenging but I guess anywhere in this area is. The staff were genuinely courteous, friendly and very accommodating. We had a good stay with no regrets at all.

Stayed here for 1 night. The staff are really accommodating and friendly and very helpful. Location is perfect! The rooms are spacious but they have this weird smell. The old carpet maybe? Price is just right. This hotel has a lot of potential it just needs a makeover physically! Peace!

My friends and I decided to find a hotel in QC near Tomas Morato because we were going to attend a special occasion somewhere in morato, I found hotel rembrandt through browsing on web coz' i remembered one of my friend saying "i check mo online yun hotel rembrandt". at first I was hesitant there website is ok somewhat helpful but the pictures are not as inviting as the other hotels room pic. i was still looking at other options but when i checked their rates it was really affordable and it was at our budget range. so to make sure that they do really have an online booking i decided to call the hotel for further inquiry. i was pleased with the way they answer my inquiry it was really helpful and detailed. the girl from the reservations that answered my call is really friendly and said to one of my inquiry that it's up to us.
that's one of the reasons we chose hotel rembrandt.although they don't have a swimming pool but they do offer a family suite (good for families and barkadas) which other hotel around qc doesn't have, one of our main concern is the head count in my observation they are not strict for us it's not really a big deal and is a plus because we don't have to be concern with regards to hotel charging for extra persons/heads. although some of us may not have a free breakfast only 2 persons per room has free BF. it's not really a big deal because they do allow room delivery just call any fast food chain give the hotel address and room number then you have instant breakfast in a much lower cost ( in our case we called jollibee). when we got to the hotel i wasn't expecting much because of the reviews some have bad comments of the smell and how old the hotel is but when we arrive in our room which is room 421-422 (by the way they combined to rooms to make it into two bedrooms) not a big deal for me. it has a door inside that connects the room from one another. the way the room is very clean and also the T&B is clean. it has 2 cable tv, 2 mini ref.,2 T&B. the room capacity is 6 pax due to it has 3 double beds but in our case we are actually 10 adults & 1 child and we fit in this room. i was expecting an old hotel room with old furnitures and etc. but NO it was renovated as my friend told me which is a good thing everything in the room is ok like other hotels that i have been in it's the same NO smell, the aircon is ok. at night we decided to have a drink in our room the 7eleven is very near it's just walking distance from the hotel, when we got back to the hotel the horror the 7eleven lady didn't put the bottle opener we have purchased how in the hell are we going to open the bottles of san mig & tanduay ice then we called the hotel service and ask for bottle opener the room boy got up and said they can't let us borrow the bottle opener but he told us he can open all bottles and he will give us ice, extra glasses for our drinks and plates for our pulutan with spoons n etc. no charge! yes thank you! hotel rembrandt with your good service. well yes the hotel at night is somewhat near the noisy bars & etc, we expected this already because we are familiar with it's location. overall our stay in hotel rembrandt is verygood like our other hotel overnights i will never forget the experience.

Room Tip: choose the family suite great value for your money has a lot of space.

I seem to enjoy my stay, of course it's not 5 star, but it's comfortable, and reasonably priced. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Located close to restaurants and shopping malls. Fantastic restaurant across the road plus great dining places nearby. Note to overseas visitors, if you can't compromise a little stay in Makati and pay top dollar.

Checked in last December 13, 2013. The hotel is quite busy during that time resulting in impatient staffs. The hotel itself does not have much parking space so its either you park on the surrounding block of the hotel or you try the empty lot which serves as their additional parking space. Said space do provide a security service, unfortunately if you have a lot of stuff with you, you'll need to cart everything by yourself going to the hotel lobby which is a few meters away.

The room meant to be used by a maximum of 2pax (as per the online booking) was big enough for 4pax. Its quite spacious although some appliances were disappointing as they look really old. Buffet breakfast is ok but too expensive for its price, again staff were not very attentive.

I would check-in again primarily because of its location which is right in "Tomas Morato" were there are a number of restaurants, pubs and bars. But I'd look for cheaper alternatives first.
