“Eat UP”

University of the Philippines
Ranked #3 of 80 things to do in Quezon City
Certificate of Excellence

I always wanted to see a naked a man facing upward with arms outstretched, symbolizing selfless offering of oneself to his country offering. The statue was based on the second verse of Rizal's Mi Ultimo Adios; measures 3.5 meters in height, symbolizing the 350 years of Spanish rule in the Philippines. The sculpture is replete with references of selfless dedication and service to the nation, and as the sculptor himself describes it. UP Dilliman was my dream college campus, the University currently provides the largest number of degree programs in the country. The Senate of the Philippines recognizes the University as "the nation’s premier university”. I want to thank for the fact that finally I was able to visit the campus; thanks for my friend who gave me such opportunity!

Just walking in the parks there are peasful and nice, just to sit down and enjoy life. To se the lives of the people working there and the students are exciting enough for me

The tree lined streets of the country's premier state university are perfect for an early morning jog or a late afternoon walk most especially when classes are not in session.

This place is good for photo shoot and prenup. Most people go here to jog and exercise every morning and evening. You will appreciate most of the sceneries here. If you want a food trip, you can go to "Area 2".

Whether you are curious about architecture in the Philippines post Spanish era or simply want a place to break some sweat, the UP campus is an excellent choice. Food is cheap and good, and it's one place where you can eat street food without fear. Sundays, the academic oval is car free so it is full of families, joggers, walkers. Picnic, you can do too. Student theater is alive and dynamic so there is always a performance to catch mostly during school period.
