“the greasier, the better”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

worth what you paid for. been here twice already. my boys didn't take the challenge, though.
you wouldn't get disappointed with their burgers. juicy and cheesy and "bacony".
the only setback is the place. it is a bit crowded and the a/c is not that good. hope that they will improve on this. but will be back again.

“Worth your money and time! dont miss it!”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

ate at zark's awhile ago. I invited my cousins to try zark's because of the big burger service--- and i think they weren't disappointed !! for Php 160 ( minor league+ ice tea and fries) and Php 180( major league) ----- it's worth it!! if you want to be challenged, try the jawbreaker wherein you get the burger for free if you finish the burger + fries for 5 mins. You can also try the tombstone ( deadly meat!) challenge for 10 mins

“Pretty good burger”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

I ate at Zarks in March 2014. I had the Jawbreaker, it was 3 patties with cheese bacon and spam. The burger could do without the spam so I ate the spam separately. The bun was very soft and the patties were cooked just right. It was juicy with the bacon adding just enough salt to flavor the whole burger. I got the impression that this place is trying to mirror Big Judds in Boise Idaho, It still has a ways to go but the idea is solid. The restaurant is across the street from a private university so it was crowded with kids eating their burger with a fork, hahaha.

I imagine the place does well among the locals, I'm surprised the owner, which is a young kid does not invest some of that money and move to a better, bigger and cleaner location. I inquired about buying a franchise since it is posted on their website but the owner stated they are not selling any franchises. All in all I give this place 7 out of 10, the cleanliness is still an issue for foreigners but if you want a tasty burger that's cheap, I recommend you give this place a try.
