The place is a good nature trip for those who are in the metro. Kids and those kids at heart will enjoy the activities inside this park - horseback riding, riding a bicycle, zipline, bungee jumping, swimming. The swimming pool is not that inviting since hundreds of people flocked in a single pool. I would recommend this for families who want to be away from the city while in the city.

Lots of trees, walkways and paths...there's a big public pool.. so the place can get crowded on weekends... try it on regular day early in the morning or late in the afternoon...the place is quiet and peaceful and you will enjoy the park even more...

Bring along family members and savor nature's best inside this protected reserve within the city. Kids and adult alike will surely enjoy the fresh cool green silence of forest plus various activities this nature park can offer. Whether you wanted some restful sleep, a lazy walk, romantic stroll, or family picnic and get together, La Mesa is a perfect location for bonding. Pack your car with food and water, bring volleyball, badminton, kites, fishing gear, extra clothes and swim wear, or even tag along your bicycle ... rent a cottage and spend the day free from noise, traffic, and pollution. There's also a zip line, bungee jumping, horse-back riding, and fish feeding. Food stalls and shops abound, including that of a tattoo artist and souvenir items. Flowers and ornamental plants are sold at lower prices. Quality time? Bonding Time at La Mesa Dam
