I so wanted to be able to give this hotel a excellent review, but jut a few things let it down. The building is brilliant - converted caravanserai, great covered central courtyard / atrium. The location is great. Free parking right outside. The rooms are well decorated and the overall atmosphere of the place is very calm. I found the staff very helpful, although with limited English skills.
The downside is that the bedroom walls are paper thin and have no sound proofing, so any noise from other rooms, outside or the Antrim e.g. during breakfast, and piped muzak at 7:30 in the morning, all try and prevent you from sleeping. The museum next door was being used for an event the day I stayed - not a problem because eating in the hotel itself was much nicer - but the noise from the event just comes straight into the hotel. The air conditioning in the rooms is also very loud.
It would have been good to have a fridge in the room.
The library, just off the central courtyard was a lovely place to sit in the evening.
