Ankara is the administrative capital of Turkey. A fast groving, dusty, dirty and very, very crowded town. I've stayed in Movenpick Hotel Ankara for 3 nights and 4 days (2-5 October, 2012). Must tell that it was my oasis of peace and rest, for the bussy and jamed streets seemd to me too chaotic. I realy enjoued the rest in this modern, new and clever looking hotel. If I didn't want to go to the center of the town, I could have stayed in the Movenpick Hotel and the sorroundig area for all trhree days. All in all, It was a good deal, because the prices of hotels in Ancara are enoumously high. But..
I had a meeting across the street in another (exclusive) Hotel and since I walked those 700 meters, I feld as I was going through outh and constructing zone ( and I was dusty and filty as well). The good thing is the shoping mall and big shop for computers and electroniks, next to the Hotel that was very handy.More
