Unless you are on a seriously tight budget and you want to save money. And I mean seriously tight. I've never been in a hotel before where the shower head spray out for 360 degrees rather than down. Almost fell over with all the water on the floor. This place is downright grotty.

We stayed here as part of a tour. When we got there at 5pm - still broad daylight out- the whole lobby was in darkness. Several of our tour mates likened it to visiting a communist country (eg Russia or North Korea were both mentioned)

Lift is tiny. Rooms are big (about the only positive). Went to put our drinks in the bar fridge, open it up to mould and a musty smell, it didn't work. The beds are rock hard - like sleeping on a board. The bathroom by appearance, looks nice. A nice deep bath, new basin, vanity and toilet, however upon closer inspection there are serious mould problems and cleaning issues. No safety deposit box either.

Hotel isn't in the nicest area and our room overlooked slum areas. The breakfast was awful and lacking in any variety.

Overall would not stay here given the choice

I don't tend to like writing negative things, and having stayed in a wide range of accommodation styles in all my travel I can be pretty accepting of most things and I do not expect the Ritz.

However, I cannot really think of a nice thing to say about the hotel. That doesn't mean it was horrible, but nothing stood out to me in a positive manner. The hotel was loud (not helped by a massive group of school kids that were staying), it was suggested that we not go wandering as the location was "not in the best neighbourhood" which didn't really matter as there didn't seem to be any restaurants nearby. It took ages to get any service in the "bar" and we were then told that most of the drinks menu was unavailable. The breakfast was also average.

The beds were fine, and I slept, but i'm sure for the same price, there are probably better hotels in Ankara.

Stayed here for 1 night as part of a 15 day tour. Although the room was in need of decoration, it was adequate for a 1 nights stay. The helpful staff repaired the shower within minutes of me phoning reception.

We stayed here as part of a 15 day tour and it is not a great hotel. It does need renovating but we were comfortable and the breakfast was OK except they only offered instant coffee. However, we were warned by our guide not to wander around at night in this area of Ankara, which wasn't a problem as we had already eaten and we were very tired.

Stayed here for one night as part of a 15 day Turkish guided tour. Easily the worst of the 11 hotels we used and not one I would return to in a hurry. The in room fridge was broken and the inside rusty. Bedding and decor is 70s style and probably original.

We spent there 3 nights and it was really good. Good location and helpful staff. Breakfast is also good. We had a double room and it was small but the bathroom was so good. If you need to stay in Ankara just stay here.
