Stayed in Ramada Ankara Hotel recently;
Location-Central Ankara a busy spot. Nice cafe & restaurants in walking distance;
Rooms-Small! Nicely decorated and efficient.
Service-Excellent Welcome & Lobby Service; all smily and friendly people around! I m pretty disappointed with the restaurant on ground floor; servants are not qualified enough and a bit ignorant.
No Gym or Sauna is in service although the hotel webpage says they have so. The reception informed me as the fitness area is under construction which most of the hotels politically answers you when they don't have one.
My conclusion; good enough for 1/2 night overs.

Ok, first of all, the people who work there vary. Some are great and some are not. Some speak some english, some speak none (not that you shouldn't be traveling with your handy dandy Turkish language pocket book). The rooms are fine, at least my room on the non smoking 5th floor was fine. So if you don't smoke, choose a non smoking floor. I found the location to be pretty good, on a popular shopping street with several restaurants and pubs. The rooms are small, the gym is horrible so if you plan to work out here.....don't. I didn't even make it to the sauna from the fear the gym's condition struck me. The food at the Cafe inside the hotel is pretty good. I had the pasta and the mediterranean salad (I am on a no meat kick) and it was good. The beer was cold (big points there). The business centre has two computers hooked up to a printer. So all and all its a pretty decent place to stay and I would recommend it. However, skip the hotel offered shuttle and take a cab. I waited 30 minutes for my shuttle to arrive to take me to the airport and there was a taxi stand right outside. Good luck.

Room Tip: Non smoking room 5th floor wasnt bad.

I stayed in this hotel for the second time and I don't have any regret. It has a wonderful location for Ankara. Serving and staff are alright and helpful. It'S good to stay one or two nights for business purposes. You can reach anywhere in Ankara very easiliy. I surely recommend it.

I found all of the staff in the hotel especially friendly and helpful. The room was a little small with slightly noisy air-con but it was clean and had a very good shower. The bed could have used a new mattress though. Quite a good breakfast buffet and a nice bar & restaurant. Very good location for evenings out and overall, good value and comfortable. Would stay again.

The hotel is comfortable and well located in the downtown area. Many restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Although you are on a busy street, it is not very noisy in the rooms which is a good feature. The hotel itself has a very nice restaurant with terraces outside, so great place to have some refreshments late afternoon and just watch Ankara's daily life.
Staff was very cordial and helpful at all times.

Room Tip: Rooms are European style but have roomy bathrooms, if you want more place to stretch out then ask fo...

There is nothing I could complain about in this hotel. I can’t say much about the location, cause I did not manage to get an overview of the city, but it is walking distance from the “Pub - Street” which is the drinking and eating hotspot in Ankara - so I was told.
The rooms were good, clean and big enough. AC worked fine and the water pressure was amazing, even in the 8th floor. They serve a really good breakfast there - Turkish, mind you, but really good with grilled vegetables, olives, tomatoes and so on. But no real ham, just a few beef sausages that do not compare to the ones made out of pork.
Service at the front desk was great. When I got there they asked me how much I paid for the taxi. Turns out I paid too much. They called up the taxi driver and made him give me part of the money back. That was great.

Room Tip: Top floor - these rooms have a great terrace.
