My husband and I really liked this place and would stay here again. The location is perfect -right in the center, although the room itself was very quiet. Rooms were clean and comfortable - breakfast very good and plentiful. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the harbour for breakfast is a treat. Staff was friendly -highly recommend

We are so glad to find somewhere so cute, hommy and extremely comfortable. It places in the center of Bodrum which you can travel anywhere easily. Also, crew was perfectly kind, reliable and always ready to help. We highly recommend.

During our yearly visits to the Bodrum area, the pretty and well-kept facade of the Bac Pansiyon on the lively ”Barlar Sokak” along the waterfront in the center of Bodrum has always caught our attention. This year, we had the opportunity to stay in Bodrum in the month of October, and we chose the Bac Pansiyon for 4 days. It was a wonderful experience.
The interior of the small hotel, which has only 10 rooms, is tastefully decorated and well maintained everywhere, the lobby, the halls, the rooms and the terrace. The rooms are nicely equipped with very comfortable beds, individual air conditioning, TV flat screen with lots of channels, refrigerator, good cupboards, and a safe. The bathrooms are small but efficient and usual toiletries are provided. Some of the rooms have balconies and an extra small room with a sofa. The rooms facing the sea, which is just 10 meters away, give an incredible 180 degrees view of the Bodrum bay, including the Bodrum Castle. The rooms facing the street have no view. As Bodrum is well-known for its liveliness, it is important to mention that the modern windows and balcony doors of the rooms are insulated, so that the noise from the street and the bars is efficiently kept out. The cleanliness of the rooms and the rest of the hotel is impeccable.
As the hotel is small, the guests have frequent contact with the friendly staff, which is very helpful and eager quickly to solve problems that the guests might encounter.
The buffet breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is served on the 3rd floor terrace, which has a splendid view over the bay. The buffet includes everything of a Turkish breakfast and is well attended to by the staff.
The hotel, which is owned by the family Bac, is in a 95 years old building, which is totally renovated. Situated at the center of “Barlar Sokak” everything in town is within easy walking distance: Bodrum castle 10 minutes, Bodrum Marina 20 minutes, Mausoleum 20 minutes, Halikarnassos nightclub 15 minutes. Good restaurants are plentiful in even shorter distances. Many of the restaurants on “Barlar Sokak” have seaview, but the by passers are frequently accosted by the restaurant staff trying to catch their attention and tempt them into their restaurant. Away from this street there are many good and quiet restaurants, also on the promenade towards the Bodrum Marina.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the sea.

Stayed at the Bac Pansiyon in early March. Booked a sea view room and well worth it. My main worry with an out of season break is will there be hot water and will hotel be warm, it was a yes to both, plenty of hot water and room very warm, in fact hardly had to use the air con. Small balcony to sit on and lovely view of castle. Breakfast served on 3rd floor, either outside on terrace or inside again with lovely views. Would recommend.

Room Tip: Book a sea view room for a balcony and view of the sea, other rooms overlook the interesting pedestrianised shopping street.

Very plain but good location if you want to save money. Staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are a little depressing. Of course, if you are trying to save money and plan to stay longer, there are other hotels that offer more perks.
