Lovely staff lovely rooms lovely location rooms are a bit small but fresh decor makes up for size- nothing is too much trouble for the staff - it helps that we went out of season but they are just genuinely helpful - would stay here again in a minute.

We stayed during the off-season (late Oct - early Nov) at Asmin Hotel. The location was excellent, although it was a bit difficult to find at first. Handy to the bus station, markets, shooping centre, restaurants, local attractions, etc.
The staff were really friendly and went the extra mile to be helpful.
The room was a little small but very clean, Breakfast was good.
We are planning to go back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at Asmin Hotel. It was a wonderful value for the price. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They wanted to help in every situation and were constantly working to clean and keep everything looking nice. The front desk staff was very polite and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Breakfast was wonderful. Couldn't have asked for a better place, especially for the price. Location was great. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Asmin hotel. All the staff were really nice, friendly and accommodating. Volcan helped us book a boat trip and also found a bar for us to watch the All Ireland football final :) His English is superb after spending many of his years in Donegal and the US!

The location of the hotel is very central. Its a short stroll to some nice restaurants and the waterfront. It is not near a good beach but we got the dolmus from the bus station (also, a very short stroll from the hotel) to Gumbet, Bitez and a few other beaches to explore the pennisula during the day and chill on a beach. I certainly think Bodrum was the best place to be based for nightlife and eating - Gumbet looked awful!

The room had very modern furniture and was spotless. It was a bit small but the wardrobe was plenty big enough for 2. The shower is a little small also but it wasn't a problem for us. We had our sheets and towels changed daily. We were even provided towels to bring to the beach (one less bulky item required for your suitcase!).

The breakfast was a buffet - the only hot food was two items which changed daily. Suited us fine though! :) Cereals, breads, cakes, fruits, cheeses, meats, olives, jams, spreads.. loads to keep you full until the late afternoon!

The only downpoints were that you get woken by the mosque at sunrise (so bring earplugs if light sleeper). Though we found with the air con on we wouldn't hear it (air con is free). Also, you don't have a balcony to sit out on at night but all the rooms overlook the pool and you can sit by the bar down there if you like.

Room Tip: Rooms can be small, so if that will be a problem request a bigger one. I reckon the ground floor are...

So the Asmin Hotel is ranked as #1 on the list of Bodrum B&B and Inns and a sign outside bills it as a boutique hotel. Let us be clear, it's a hotel plain and simple. But if you set your expectations to reasonable it is quite a nice hotel.

Shoehorned onto a lot in the middle of a residential area it is completely surrounded by low houses and no streets. The entrance is at the end of a narrow pedestrian alley leading out to a marginally wider alley leading out to a narrow one way street. It's quiet and secluded despite being in the middle of town and I could sleep with windows open being disturbed only by the occasional barking dog and the six o’clock call to prayer.

The place is slightly hard to find the first time but it's well situated. from the entrance you are not more than five minutes from the central bus station, the harbour in the opposite direction or the shops and restaurants in between

The hotel itself consists of two two story bulidings set at an angle with a courtyard in between. There are only twenty odd rooms, all facing in. In the courtyard is a 5*10 m pool,a wading pool, and sun chairs. Also facing in is the breakfast room, a small bar, and the lobby. Ground floor rooms have patio doors leading out onto the courtyard while upper floor rooms make do with standing room only balconies

The rooms are small but functional and nicely,if generically, furnished, the bathroom likewise. Everything looks clean and well maintained and this goes also for the hotel as a whole. Rooms are cleaned daily.

The bed is a typical hotel bed, slightly too short and slightly too hard, but perfectly servicable. There is wi-fi and a flatscreen tv showing many turkish channels, and the bbc. Also a minibar with the also typical prices. Air conditioning is ceiling mounted, very effiecent and not too loud.

The bathroom was okay, very clean with nice white towels. Small warning here though, if you cannot see your own feet when you look down, find another hotel. The shower cubicle is quite small.

The breakfast buffé was sufficient if nothing special. Not everything is dislayed, eggs and youghurt, for example, were produced on request. Breakfast was served till 11 am.

Staff were generally nice and friendly and service minded.

Conclusion. Reading back it might sound as if I'm somehow damning the Asmin with faint praise but that is not it at all. The thing about this place is that it functions as you would like a hotel to function. Everything works, nothing really grates and there is no hassle or stress. This is what we want, no? In short, finally, I liked it.

Wow. The staff here were amazing. The location is great (less than a 5minute walk to the main strip). The price was right and did I say the staff were amazing? The pool was great and always warm. There is a Turkish bath on site which was a great way to relax after a long day. Since we drove it was a little hard to find but the hotel staff actually emailed us a map the day before to help us find it. Great hotel I highly suggest for anyone visiting Bodrum.
