We have just left the El vino hotel and couldn't have been more impressed with the hotel and the service. We were upgraded to a comfort suite. Breakfasts were great and the manager and staff were friendly and helpful. Deniz was awesome, organizing a boat trip for us which isnt so easy in the non peak season. Highly recommend.

My wife and I along with two friends stayed in this heaven on earth hotel tucked away neatly in Bodrum Center for a four night stay this past February. Upon arrival, we knew we selected the right hotel to explore the peninsula. The hotel manager, Deniz Kiraz made sure our stay was top notch and that we were well taken care of. Deniz even gave us a lift to the local bus station upon our departure.

The grounds of the hotel are very well manicured and are surrounded by a lush vegetation that most other hotels lack. The rooftop pool and terrace area is great for watching the sunset and for sharing the casual late afternoon drink while taking in the call for prayer. The rooms are all exceptionally clean and spacious. Our favorite part about the hotel was the breakfast...it's included and has Plenty to offer, including a great chef on call to make you whatever it is you wish...from chocolate crepes to omelettes of your choosing. I wish I could convince Deniz to mail me some of the freshly squeezed orange juice and dried plums!

Overall, we very much look forward to returning to Bodrum and to spending more time chatting with Deniz and taking in the tranquility that El Vino Hotel offers. Keep up the good work Deniz...it shows!

Room Tip: Book Early and be personable!

A little oasis in bodrum. A short 15 min walk up the hill from the marina, the Staff are ultra friendly. Pool is wonderful, with some bed cabannas you can relax in style!
Restaurant is amazing, the best place we ate in bodrum by far. The view is divine.

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend who happened to stay there by chance. We managed to book half board and a suite two years later. The food was gorgeous and made the holiday! The hotel is built within a hill and the restaurant is rooftop with an amazing view, we could have anything on the menu and were never disappointed, certainly worth 5 stars. Our suite was large with a Juliet balcony which is too small even for one chair, it overlooked the pool which was lovely. The staff were wonderful and friendly and worked very hard. Breakfast was good and included cereal, pastries, omelette (ask the waiter) eggs etc. but we do have one criticism being the music played in the morning, peaceful silence would have been better. The private beach is a ten minute drive and if you book with reception they'll provide transport (usually the owner driving you), once you arrive they will ensure you have a sun lounger at no extra cost. It is a small area and is looking very tired, don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. The walk to Bodrum centre is15 minutes and although we needed to walk after our delicious meal we found it somewhat tedious after four nights. We stayed for a week and it was a lovely tranquil holiday at the El Vino, we are not creatures of habit but would return to this hotel more than anything for the restaurant! The hotel is peaceful too as generally there are no children, the pool doesn't accommodate youngsters.

Room Tip: Suite overlooking the pool on second floor overlooking the pool, half board as food and view is wond...

El Vino was an "oasis" in the heart of Bodrum. The 20 or so room boutique hotel is spilt onto 4 levels due to it being built on a hill gives it real character. There are 2 unassuming entrances at the top and bottom which give no clue as to what a lovely little hotel lies within. The room was fitted with modern good quality furniture, a comfortable bed and rustic brick walls.

The buffet style breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh local produce to choose from. My wife was MADE UP that they offered freshly squeezed orange juice. It was a delight to behold!

Our favourite part of the hotel were the cabanas that were dotted around on numerous levels. They were great for a relaxing day of reading whilst offering shade from searing Sun. We especially loved the one on the terrace pool.

This hotel was incredibly clean and all staff extremely helpful in offering advice. They are also clearly animal lovers as there were lots of well looked after cats around the hotel.

We would recommend getting the hotel shuttle to the beach at Torba, the afternoon tea at the poolside bar everyday at 5pm (we called it cake o'clock) and Bodrum Castle is well worth the entrance fee.

Regarding the hotel is difficult to say anything very positive or negative, but (based on so many positive reviews) we expected much more (4 stars hotel), but 3 stars is a max here. But Bodrum and it's surrounding is nice.
A lot of noise around - staff (very friendly, what is not the same like very professional) was often talking loudly behind our doors every early morning. Too dark room - too weak bulbs, very few lights only, uncomfortable beds. Kitchen in the apartment - but without totally anything - no plates, dishes, cutlery, glass, ... Too tall trees, almost jungle around - too much shade instead of sun. Breakfast offer is so so only, not too many possibilities. And I don't like coffee spilled on the saucer. Finally, location is too far from the harbor (the best town area).

Our first trip to Turkey was fabulous and the El Vino hotel stay was a highlight, we stayed for two weeks half board. Breakfast and dinner were included in our stay, and we had a different delicious dish every evening. You must order the Baked Sea Bass in Paper, our personal mouthwatering favourite. Breakfast was all fresh produce and fruit juices, and the chef made lovely omelettes on request. We only ate out a couple of times to try something different, the food in the restaurant so good and the views over the castle and harbour are stunning. Our suite was excellent and had a lounge, galley with fridge and kettle with a wine opener. We could walk to the supermarket three minutes away and buy a wide variety of fresh local produce and drinks. The hotel owners produce organic wine, fresh olives, limes, lemons and oranges. You could open your suite door and pick a fresh lime straight of the tree to compliment your drink. The hotel was pretty, bouganvillia trees and groves make it a quiet oasis in a busy city. The 15min walk to the harbour or 20 minute walk to the public beach and bar side was pleasant. We found a lot to see and do in two weeks and it still felt too short a time. The management, staff and chef's were friendly and could not do enough for you...the cleanliness and service were top class. Our thanks to Emin, Deniz, Ebru, Issa & all the chef's & special staff for making our stay a home away from home after coping with a long illness just what we needed. We will be back!!!!!

Room Tip: Suites are lovely if you can upgrade
