We had the most wonderful stay at the El Vino Hotel after a Gulet cruise. The hotel offers a beautiful and peaceful setting away from the town centre of Bodrum but close enough to walk and explore if you so wish. Our room was pure luxury and spotlessly clean with attention to every detail. The garden and pool offer a paradise if you just want to relax and de-stress and the service is excellent. Dinners at the roof top restaurant with spectacular views over the town were a delight and the quality of food and wine was excellent. We were also treated to complimentary afternoon tea and cake in the shaded area of the garden. We were exceptionally happy with all aspects of this Hotel and would definately recommend it.

After spending two weeks sailing the Turkish coast, this hotel gave us the perfect chance to wash away the salt and relax in their beautiful pool and lush patio. The hotel is also well located to hire a car (Avis) and make the drive to Ephesus (don't miss the Greek temple at Euromos!). The staff were very helpful making taxi arrangements to the airport as well, and the restaurant was outstanding. Great views and great food. Rooms were good size, clean and the beds were firm and comfortable. Our three teenagers were also impressed. We'd recommend this hotel to couples or families. Very, very nice!

After a long overnight bus ride from Pamukkale, and a long hot walk from the bus depot, we were thrilled when we opened the back door to the garden and even more thrilled when we got to our room. A piece of paradise and relaxation awaited. Excellent value and comfort, over the tope service by Deniz when we screwed up our reservation dates and he went out of his way to get us in. A big thanks. You won't go wrong staying here. A bit of a distance to the downtown, but the exercise is worth it as we wanted to just stay at the Hotel. Would truly recommend this property for value, ambience and relaxation, will be back.

The Good:

We took a suite, which gives you a 100 sq ft bedroom with a very comfy double bed and quiet modern A/C, and a 120 foot sitting room with a sink, sofa, and a big tv. The room was excellent, at this price range. A fast effective wireless network on tap.

The location is quiet and peaceful. The Pool is outstanding - beautiful, warm, stylish, and large enough for fun. Sun loungers and two cabanas around the pool, ample towels, sun shades, etc.

The ambience is delightful - the hotel is festooned with flowers and climbing plants.

There is a rooftop restaurant with an outstanding view of Bodrum, perfect for cool dinners. The restaurant is actually the best one we went to in Bodrum, by far.

The hotel has a little home movie theatre with a projector and half a dozen (uncomfortable) loungers.

The female staff were delightful. The male staff looked like they really wanted to be somewhere else doing something else.

The less good:
No DVD players in the rooms (bring a laptop).
The rooms dont have baths, only showers.
The male staff
The hotel is quite a hike from the town centre.

The bad:
Constant quite loud musak around the pool from 8 am to 8pm. They wouldnt turn it off.

Apart from the musak, a great chillout hotel, and very good value.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It has a lovely garden with a nice pool. The rooms are nicely presented & the staff are fantastic. If you want to be closer to the the action & nightlife in Bodrum, and you don't have a car, you might find this hotel a little "up the hill" but we were looking for somewhere to get away from the riff-raff & relax & sit by the pool so El Vino was perfect. The staff could not be more pleasant & helpful. They really made it a lovely weekend for us. The rooftop restaurant is amazing for dinner & the food is world-class.

Nearly best place for accomodation in Bodrum city. Nice and perfectly clean rooms, nearly an ace breakfast , perfect manager called Deniz , my only complaint is roof restaurant manager who did not bother with our reservation but it is an amazing spot for accomodation . Highly recommended..:))

I have been traveling all over the world due to our job as I am a professional tour guide. (61 countries and over 420 cities). I have never felt this much humiliated in my life as a tourist trying to have a romantic dinner at the rooftop of this restaurant. Me and my fiance booked a table for the rooftop restaurant of the Hotel El Vino which really offers fantastic views of the city. In the evening, we were all dressed nicely and were really thrilled about having a lovely and romantic dinner to plan our wedding. However, the gentlemen who greeted us for being seated simply treated us as if we were just asking for FREE FOOD. He turned us down and refused to give us a table claiming that WE DID NOT DO A RESERVATION. The gentlemen even did not bother to ask our names or doing a few phone calls to make sure if what he was doing was right. We left the place with all our appetite gone and felt very disappointed. I had only 3 days/nights to spend in Bodrum and nobody has the right to ruin one of my evenings.

This may not be relevant for all the hotel guests but please DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RESERVATION if you do not want to be disappointed like us.
