Perfect location for a stay in central Bodrum. Fantastic breakfast, lunch & dinner. The food can be repetitive however, wide choice. Very limited snacks inbetween meals for an all inclusive.
Rooms would benefit for a little maintenance. On arrival the flush didn't work at all & 2 of 4 bulbs in bathroom didn't work.. these issues were rectified on the day we reported them. Beds made and bibs emptied daily.
Sone if the staff could do with being a little more cheerful. Most ok.
Great value for money and our holiday was certainly a positive experience...

I got back from Mandarin resort last week and went with the intention of just making the most of it after reading the bad reviews!
Food was ok (always something you’ll like)
Drink was unlimited and generous, though in the day, severed in the thinnest plastic cups I’ve ever seen
Room was lovely but hit and miss as to whether you had it cleaned and watch your belongings, we had tobacco and cigarettes go missing by cleaner and asked to change him! So unfortunately hide your valuables (or anything for that matter)
There was no entertainment and be prepared for LOUD music by the fun pool, some of which is unedited so cover little ones ears lol also take your own towels, we used hotel ones and 3 Turkish transgender women took our bed 2 days running resulting in a full on fight, at over 6’ we didn’t stand a chance and management weren’t much help at all, though we kept our room on last day for free as compo!
So basically it’s up to you to make the most of the location and facilities! It’s not 5 star but does have the potential to be with abit of good management!
We still had a fabulous time and harbour down the road is lovely, be prepared to be pounced on by the shop keepers! Very good at saying the right thing to lure you into their shops which I found quite stressful as a single mum!
Anyway if you’re due to go soon enjoy every minute as it’s still a week off work and chores in the sun!

Let me start with the pro's
45min Transfer time
Okay food
Nice Pools good baby pool and nice slides for older kids
The Spar was fantastic
Free aircon, wifi (although hit and miss regarding connection) and bottled water in your room

When we first arrived our rooms were given to somene else and had to wait for over an hour. Then they gave us two separate rooms so our children were 4 doors away. This was all done by a very unhelpful and misrable reception lady; which by the way did not apologise at any point.

We very quickly found the hotel had no day time entertainment for the kids and the evening entertaiment consists of going next door to the bar. Everyone sat outside as the music, that was mainly Turkish was so loud the bar man struggled to hear what you would like to drink. Also inside would not hold everyone from the hotel anyway. If you book all inculsive this is where you have to go to get a drink as after dinner finishes you can not get a drink anywhere else in the hotel.

Rooms cleaned most days however always forgot something (towels, toilet roll) but our room cleaner was really nice.

Reported a small leak coming from our bathroom ceiling to the receptionist. This was never dealt with, in the 10 days we were there.

The closest beach nothing special however in the evening the restaurant's put they dinning tables on the beach.

Closest beach with water sports is in Gumbet 15 minute taxi drive at 30 lira.

Lots of arguments and even a fight broke out around the pool over the sun beds !!!!

hold on to your plate at dinner as the staff like to clear away before you have even finished !!!!!

Overall clean, tidy rooms with good food and lovely grounds and pools. However rude unhappy looking staff with no entertainment.

Stayed here for 9 nights end of June/start of July, and that was plenty. We were all inclusive. I'd never gone AI before as I do like to go out and sample the local restaurants and bars but I was persuaded. Am so glad that it didn't cost a fortune as it was a waste.
Room - we did book a standard room and it was OK, had air con, safe, fridge and bottled water was provided each day. We were in a bit of a corner overlooking the fun slide, balcony was a joke, if you wanted to both sit out round the table then one of you had to climb over the table!!
Food was the same, day in/day out, snacks during the day was burger, onion rings and fries every day with the odd day chicken nuggets thrown in. We ended up missing breakfast, having lunch (think I lived off water melon) and then going out at night and there are plenty of good places nearby, curlys round the corner being a definite place to visit . There was no entertainment at the hotel during the day or at night, there was nothing to keep you at the hotel in the evening. There was a bar next door linked to the hotel that you could get drinks from but Cocktails weren't included!! Their entertainment was Turkish music booming out. It was really disappointing.
Pool - 2 pools, one with slides and music and one next to it abit quieter. It was ridiculous with the sunbeds, people left their towels on them all day long and I think even people who had probably departed the hotel left their towels as some sunbeds were never touched during the day. I don't agree with leaving towels on sunbeds but I had to do it otherwise we'd never of ever got a sunbed. Never left them on during the day but at night when returning to the hotel we'd put the towels out then.
Though the pool area had kids slides I wouldn't recommend the hotel as kid friendly, apart from bread my kids would have starved so unless they really really like salads there isn't a lot for kids to eat!

Positives were staff seemed nice, place was quite clean. Location was the best thing about it, a 10 minute walk if that to the centre. It's not a place I'd rush back to

One star was due to us only staying two days so it was enough for that the other start is it's in a great location. After this there is no stars I can give this place, it wasn't the worst but it was 5 star worthy. We had an issue without our aircon, that was fixed the next day. No internet connection in rooms 111 and 113. Didn't even bother trying to get a spot on the pool. They only offered us breakfast, so for the price we paid it was not worth staying at this hotel. When you have a shower prepare for the whole bathroom to get wet the room was a decent size with an ok sized balcony but that's it. Wouldn't stay here again unless the price dropped and it was only for a day or two.
