A special place to stay. Welcoming, clean, comfortable, central to beach, bus, ATM's, supermarkets, restaurants. Only 6 apertments, adult & toddler pool. Small poolside bar. And Chiat (Gee) to entertain & care for you. Stayed there 7 times, already booked for 2016.
I recently stayed here with some family members for my sisters wedding. The genuine welcome and friendliness of the manager is a rare find. The rooms were spotless and a good size for 2-4 people. The pool is one of the cleanest I've seen. The small number of rooms makes it peaceful and a more welcoming homely atmosphere then the larger resorts. Wifi is great and worked well always in the room or the pool. G the manager could not have done more for us and to assist in making the holiday special and without stress for my sister and parents.
The location is not on the waterfront but if you book room 4 or 5 you will get a water view.
The distance to the water is similar if not less than the distance those in the beachfront resorts will walk from their hotels to the beach.
3 supermarkets locally as well as a very reasonable fruit and vegetable stop.
ATMs directly across the road as is the bus stop to Bodrum and Oasis shopping centre.
Restaurants not on the main street are less pricey and more authentic Turkish food where the locals eat.
Many beach front restaurants will let you sit all day with only purchasing a bottle of water.
The boardwalk has the usual chaps standing outside inviting you to eat at their restaurant but found them significantly less pushy than other European resorts I've been too.
Gumbit for a night out or good shopping is the place to go.
The only negative is the proximity of the local mosque where locals are called to prayer up to 4 times a day - occasionally at 5am. However getting back to sleep was never a problem!!
This is most likely my first and last review on tripadvisor however I could not fail to give this gem and it's staff the praise they are due.
