“The Amazing Holiday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 November 2012

My family and I wanted something fairly spacious , modern and quiet yet close enough to the city center of Bodrum. When we entered into the hotel, we were delighted by the design. It had a luxury modern style with natural touches... The staff was quite welcoming, polite and friendly. When we went out, we were charmed by the view of Bitez, which I thought was one of the best things in Bodrum. The other important thing was that the hotel had an amazing variety of food, from traditional Turkish (pide, lahmacun) to sushi, fish, etc. I couldn't have a chance to explore the gym but it had all the high tech equipment with yoga, pilates and spinning classes. However I had a chance to try the best massage treatment from Bali therapists after spending some time in the turkish bath. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were another valuable aspect. The hotel also has a tennis court, huge indoor and outdoor swimming pools, with several bars... I really want to visit this place again!! Highly recommended!!!!!

I would highly highly recommend a stay or a visit to this hotel ,it is an absolutely top class hotel ,pure luxury! Not only are the staff so professional and friendly , the design of this hotel is absolutely superb that cannot be faulted in anyway. We arrived to use the gym and spa area ,which is equipped with the most modern and huge gym ,breathtaking views ,beautifully designed locker rooms, stunning massage rooms ,the spa is definitely a must see! We were so well looked after by both the personal trainer and manager of the gym area and Balinese massage lady.the food menus / bar food/ drinks menus are very well priced .it is such a large hotel with beautifully designed outdoor areas to have a romantic meal. The staff could not do enough for us ,fabulous ambience in the lounge area with a lady who played the piano and sang so lovely.our only problem is we really did not want to leave !!! Big thank you to all the Staff they are a credit to this hotel ! We will be definitely be paying this hotel a visit time and time again ! Trish & Pat ( Ireland)

Room Tip: Although we did not stay overnite as we have property nearby I am most definitely sure any room you...

We stayed at Ramada hotel in August 2012, only for one night.
The hotel is wonderful, clean and very well-furnished. The staff is very kind even if some of them seem not to speak english very well.
I have to say we felt like princesses during our stay.
The only bad thing about this hotel is the location: it is on a hill some km far from the centre of Bodrum; so, even if the view from the pool is fantastic, it takes a long time by taxi to reach Bodrum centre at night. Also the beach is quite far, but the staff is so nice to take you to the beach and then back whenever you want. Maybe I would suggest to organize a shuttle service to Bodrum also during the night.

I was just only for 2 nights in the hotel. The hotel is completly renovated and have a great & amazing view. The stuff is very friendly and the foods specialy sushies was excellent. That kind of delicious sushi can not find even in Istanbul.
I have visited also the Gym and find a professional eguipment that you can not find in the regular hotels.

I will choise again for my trips in Bodrum and will bring also my family.

I stayed here when it was the Mystic. The location is way too far for not having a car. This was a bummer but the hotel made up for it. Super peaceful and relaxing. Great drinks, great pool, great views. Loved the fruit in the room upon arrival. Loved the breakfast. Would love to go back...if I had a car with me...

I stayed here in October 2011, for 5 nights. The hotel is nice - comfortable rooms, clean, good Wi-Fi and good dinner buffet, when they serve it. That is one of the shortcomings - they advertise in the in-room guide and elsewhere that they serve a buffet every evening, but they don't. If the hotel thinks that there aren't enough people staying at the hotel, they cancel it. They also do not allow you to bring food or beverages into the hotel. I had never encountered that in all my travels, but a colleague I worked with, who lives in Turkey, said that is quite common for Turkish hotels. The rule is not listed anywhere and the only place it is posted is next to one of the entrance doors, in very small print. All this leads to the next shortcoming, which is the hotel's isolated location. It is in a beautiful location if you want a good view, but there is nothing around it, i.e., restaurants, grocery stores, shops, etc. You would need a car to get anywhere because the hotel is about 2 1/2 KM from any of the above-mentioned places.

If I go to Bodrum again, I'll stay in a hotel in town.

Positives:
Rooms were well designed.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Negatives:
Meals were average.
There were not many choices to eat.
Eating rooms were small and crowded.
Drinks were extra.
No nearby beach.
Quite far from city center.
Rooms do not have proper windows, windows were too small for the wall. (They said it will be fixed next summer)

A little pricy in general.

Dear Guest /(M C),

Thank you very much for writing about us.

Your comments are the most important tool which help us to upgrade our service.

We kindly would like to inform you that our property has took over by our company and named Mystic on June 1st, 2011 and by the beginning of 2012 we are planning to become "Ramada Resort Bodrum".

Physical wise and system wise we are in the process for conversion.

According to your review :

Meals were average. *** We are preparing to upgrade it.

There were not many choices to eat. *** You will have more choices with by openig of a new restaurant and a new menu

Eating rooms were small and crowded. *** We are going to enlarge and redecorate it.

Drinks were extra. *** Yes they are. The hotel is not an all inclusive hotel. For for sure drinks are good quality and the prices are competitive.

No nearby beach. *** For 2012 we are going to have a private beach for the hotel.

Quite far from city center. *** 4,5 km from Bodrum city center and has public transportation.

Rooms do not have proper windows, windows were too small for the wall. *** We are replacing windows with french balconies.

Best regards,
