My husband & I stayed at this wonderful little hotel 24/6 - 8/7 2016 and had the most amazing time ever at this hotel!! From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel so welcome by everyone. The barman Murat was wonderful and took all our cases and showed us to our room. The Management were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially the lady who kept helping me back to the room after I'd hurt my foot, without even being asked!! We had Room 3 which overlooked the pool, although it was in the corner with lots of bougainvillea around the balcony door (Juliet Balcony)), it was a relief from the scorching sun, also definitely recommend the Air Con, definitely needed!! and Safety Deposit Box. The room itself was more than adequate, twin beds, cupboard space, dressing table, small sofa, and small shower room and toilet & TV, although we never wanted or needed it on, what more do you want on holiday?!! The hotel itself is situated about 200 meters from the beach via a small cut way (no problem), straight on the beach and bar/restaurant strip, (loads of them). One tip: if you don't want to be hassled along the front turn left at the end of the road, and just walk pass the bus/taxi stop, turn right wherever you want, much easier!!! The situation of the hotel is really ideal and quiet, no loud discos or things, but apparently it can be noisy at the back of the hotel, but nobody complained! The hotel was immaculately clean all the time, and the flowers and shrubbery where maintained wonderfully by who, I think was the Manager. A very special mention must go to Murat, who seemed to 24 hrs a day, but always so friendly and willing to have a chat, (Made him laugh, with my Turkish!) THANKS Murat XX. The swimming pool was the focus of the hotel, and that was also exceptionally clean and well maintained, It was also ideal as there is no deep/shallow end, about 4.5ft all the way, and the smaller pool sometimes with bubbles was about 1.5ft, many times we sat in there with others and just started chatting! I did actually see a member of staff out at 0430 cleaning the pool!! More than enough sunbed's to go around too! The Turkish breakfast was also a friendly affair with cheeses, bread, preserves, (especially the homemade Plum from the manageress), meats, cereal, melon or some other homegrown fruit tea & coffee & juice also. Overall the most terrific Hotel and most enjoyable holiday we have ever had in Turkey We will be returning. Thank you for making so memorable. XXX

Room Tip: Rooms 1, 2, & 3 definately overlook the pool, lovely when lit a night!

our first visit to Bitez, not our kind of place really.resort is mainly restaurants along the prom on the beach. Not enough friendly little bars,Having said that it is a pretty little beach and our hotel "Small World" was almost perfect for us with a good pool and friendly staff. It was very sad to find Bitez so quiet, several times during our stay we were the only people eating in the restaurants on the beach front.it seems many people havent travelled to Turkey this year as our two day visit to nearby Turgutreis was just the same.

We went in May and had one of the best two week there, made friends with some great people and it was a pleasure to meet them, the Small world is exactly that you get what it says on the tin, basic but very clean lovely grounds full of flowers etc well maintained, staff are brill Murat is the key there and could not do enough for you as do the other staff we will certainly return and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing holiday thank you for making our stay a good one xx

Room Tip: pretty much all same

If it's a small, adults only, clean and friendly hotel you're after then look no further! You're immediately made welcome.

The rooms are basic but comfortable. They have small Juliet balconies which is a shame as we prefer to be able to site out on our balcony when we go away. A fridge would also be good to keep the water cool; we went when they had a heat wave and drank lots of water! They charge for AC but we sweated it out! Just a ceiling fan would have been good. So that's the cons. Now the pros....

Very friendly as mentioned; thanks Murat!. Only 16 rooms and it's nice to have a drink at the bar with your fellow guests before heading into Bitez for the evening. However, the hotel have a small restaurant too which we ate at a few times at lunch time and once for a hotel BBQ which was lovely. Plus Murat arranged for the kitchen to make us some traditional Gozleme one lunch time and they were delicious!

The pool is very clean, well kept and refreshing in 40+ heat!

It's only a few minutes walk to the front/beach. The beach sand is a bit gritty, not white powder sands but it's very picturesque with the boats and yachts and mountains & islands (Kos!) in the distance. You do get a bit of hassle on the front by the many bars and tavernas trying to get your business but you get used to this and if you don't make eye contact and keep walking it's fine. We did eat a couple of times on the front but we honestly preferred to find smaller more Turkish places in the streets behind. The one we loved was the Istanbul Restaurant.

Got buses everywhere which are regular and so cheap and just at the end of the road from the hotel! It's about 20-30 minutes journey to Bodrum and costs 5 TL (£1.25 for both of us!) All buses go to Bodrum and then you can get a bus to lots of other places from there. We went to Yalakvak which is the swanky yachts place and it only cost £1.75 for both of us for a 50 minute journey. Tip: look out for the public buses (these are white with a small red, green and blue (I think) stripes on the side. These are slightly cheaper and have great air-conditioning. The other buses are private and generally don't have AC and are slightly more expensive..... but I'm talking 50p more!!

It was our first time in Turkey and we'll definitely be back! It's a shame many people aren't going there for their holidays at the moment as places are quiet but it's friendly and safe!
