“An amazing relaxing holiday”
Reviewed 7 September 2013

This was my first visit to bitez, having stayed previously in altinkum three years ago.
From the moment I arrived my stay at the queen apartments was a very memorable one. I travelled with my friend and neighbour who has stayed at the apartments before. When we arrived at 12ish in the evening we were given a very warm welcome from saffi and his wife Ann. Our cases were carried up to our room while we had a quick drink in the bar. The rooms were nice and airey and a lovely balcony view of the sea. The pool area was lovely, spotless and not too busy that u were fighting for sun beds. If you wanted a drink or snack by the pool it was brought up to you. The views from the pool area were amazing. Went down to restaurants on front, salamakis chinese is a must, lemon tree is nice too. If you are going into gumbet you must try cute caspers restaurant and they will take you home free of charge. A lot of the time we ate in the restaurant at the apartments. The food was second to none, there was a gud choice for breakfast and evening meals were great value for money and very generous portion. Try the steak pie, salmon, pizza and my favourite was roast beef dinner on Sunday. The staff alim and rhianne are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Saffi and Ann are so helpful and will help you anyway they can, they always go the extra mile for you to make your stay a memorable one.Their 4daughters were also at the apartments every day and are a credit to them , lovely girls.
I am from Baxenden , near accrington and saffi kept saying accrington Stanley. He is quite a character, full of cheer all the time and friendly banter.
Also met some really nice people from Ireland, robin and adrienne, and a lovely couple from Birmingham.
Would definitely recommend these apartments !!!!
Will be visiting again soon...

Room Tip: Room 106 excellent views on first floor.

My original review was not allowed on here because the claims of 'fraud' .... so I'm going to have to tone down the content of my review so that it can be published for everyone to see.

The original review will be posted else where, try searching on Google properly for this hotel. But in short, I'll summarise this review;

1) The staff are very rude, both wife and husband (owners)
2) They think it's acceptable to charge £10 for wifi, per device.
3) They think it's acceptable to charge £35 for A/C per week.
4) They don't care about your reservation details if you have booked elsewhere.

Quite simply, this place is shocking. It's a real shame as after heaving read so many good reviews on here we thought we were going to a really nice hotel. However, we didn't even pass the reception area and ended up staying else where, not too far from here.

Save your money, your frustration and your holiday, go elsewhere.

Firstly this is a very unfair review as this 'person' never actually stayed at our apartments, so how can he comment and give unfair marks for 'cleanliness' 'sleep quality' 'rooms' and 'service'? If you read his review, he never even passed reception so how can he comment when he never even saw the rooms or pool area and our service.

What this 'person' forgot to mention is that their booking was for 4 people, but when they arrived at reception there was 5 of them. I explained that as their booking was only for 4 people they would have to pay extra for the 5th person. As his wife had already been rude to us (the owners) they then decided to go elsewhere.

It is by agreement with the tour company for air conditioning and wi-fi to be paid locally as is advertised in the brochure. As most of our guests are made through a tour company, how can they say that we do not want tour company guests? But please remember if you book for 4 people then only bring 4, or be prepared to pay the extra.

We would like to thank all of our guests who have sent in a good review, it makes all our efforts worthwhile, but also we would like to thank all our guests whether the review is good or bad.

The apartments are up a hill just out of the centre, we found this to be a bonus as the views from the restaurant and pool are fab, but for those with any form of walking issue might be a problem. The rooms are ok, the air con very welcome ( payable extra). The pool area small but never over crowded. The staff are a delight and never in your face, apart from Saff the owner who is very excitable and somewhat straight talking but always with a smile and a twinkle in the eye. Ann the owner is very very helpful and will go the extra mile to ensure you have a great time. Bitez itself is mainly a seafront stretch of restaurants and getting past them can be a pain. We tried a few, the Almera being very nice and found a few behind the Mosque which were also very good. Some of the nicest food we had was actually in the apartments own restaurant and had we be staying for an extra week would probably would not have left the apartments for food, and as we are both 'foodies' this would not be a decision taken lightly! If it had its own restaurant review I think more people would search it out to avoid the rat run on the beachfront.

Cheers to Ann Saff and Staff for a great weeks break!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: If you do want the beach, try the beds at the Mayflower which is an ok place for lunch but not for a...

This was our first visit to Bitez , second time in Turkey. We both very much enjoyed our stay in Bitez. Our time at Queen Apartments was relaxing. The room was great, with a terrace providing some views of Bitez and across the mountains. We took advantage of the air conditioning which is an extra cost but fairly reasonable and much appreciated. We were also able to book the room for some extra time on the day we were leaving which helped us enjoy our last day. The staff at Queens are helpful and friendly and try to cater to everyone's needs within reason...although I had a particular desire for banana ice cream all holiday and this was duly bought for me. I didn't have time to eat it all sadly. Saff who is a young 51 will always keep you laughing, and probably tease you about whatever accent you have. As we are from Stafford we were the yam yams for the week
. Anyway, to sum up, friendly, relaxing and a fairly quiet apartments and resort which is what we
wanted. The walk down the hill takes about 4 minutes. There is always a lovely breeze/good wind!

Room Tip: Room 105 was great for us. Cool terrace, nice view.

Stayed at the Queen apartments for two weeks and had one of the best holidays we have ever had. We had never been to Turkey so did a fair bit of research regarding which resort to go to and which hotel to stay in, chose the Queen apartments as it had such good reviews and can now confirm they do indeed deserve their position as number one in the resort!! The apartment block is situated almost at the top of a slight hill and there are steps to most of the rooms but this information is is clearly given wherever you read anything about the apartments so bear this in mind if you feel that steps and a slight incline are likely to be a problem for you, Ann and Saff will do their best to help make your stay comfortable but even they can't do anything about the set up or position of the hotel.
Back to Ann and Saff the owners, Ann is always on hand to help with anything you may need, advice about transport, restaurants etc, a really nice lady. Saff, well what can I say, made us laugh constantly, a real character! The staff, Arlim and Reyhan (hope I spelt those names right!,) work so hard and are such pleasant, polite young people. Ann and Saffs lovely daughters are usually around helping out and are a real credit to them both. If you don't want to walk down to the main strip the food at the Queens is excellent, we ate there on about seven occasions during our two week stay as well as for breakfast each day and It was fantastic, the kitchen staff do a brilliant job.I was lucky enough to get a look in the kitchen as I asked Saff how something was cooked and he took me in to show me and I can vouch for he cleanliness of the kitchen.
The apartments are basic but clean and functional and Ange the cleaner seems to work non stop. The air con in the bedrooms works really well, a must in the high August heat.
Bitez itself is a lovely resort, I'm really glad we chose to go there and even happier that we stayed at the Queens, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others and can't wait to go back ourselves, thanks Ann, Saff and the rest of the crew for a brilliant holiday.

Have just come back for our first trip to the queen apart in bitez. Went as 2 family groups and absolutely fell in love with the place. I have been to turkey before and had not even heard of bitez but it was perfect for us. Enough to not feel isolated but not so noisy that you cant relax. The beauty of the queen aparts is that you are a short walk from the beach (this is down a hill but only 5mins). To me this was a bonus as some of the hotels are noisy where as at queen apart you can relax if you wish too without noise. Its the friendliest place I have visited with like minded families around the pool and the kids making holiday friends. Ann and Saff could not to more to make your holiday the best it can be. They go above and beyond what is expected and it is clear why they are a TripAdvisor winner. The rooms are basic but clean and adequate and the food in their restaurant is delicious. The meatballs are the best there is in bitez!!! They went out of their way to cater for my daughter being a vegetarian and if you see chloes nachos on the menu when you visit they were named after chloe:) we will definitely be back we decided that early on during our holiday. Would recommend expecially for families but also for couple's if you dont mind kids playing. Only 16 rooms so not lots of kids. However if you are looking for a night club noise based holiday its not for you. I think this little place is an undescovered piece of heaven and cant wait to go back:)
