Reviewed 18 September 2013

Thanks Saff, Anne and all staff, especially Alim and Reyhan for another wonderful holiday! We stayed here last year and loved it so much we decided to come back. As soon as you arrive you are made to feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We had to go to Bodrum hospital while we were there and Saff took us in his car and waited until we were sorted...... Thanks sooo much! Anyway, as has been said in all previous reviews, Queen apart is just a brill place to stay, comfortable rooms, great food and drink (lots of it), lovely staff and we made some good friends...Ann, Jimmy, Ruth and Neil we had some great nights.....well early mornings! (Sorry Alim!). Will defo be back roll on! :-)

nice welcome, very nice room with reasonable cooking facilities (no toaster or grill),although we did not use & a decent size fridge & kettle, sheets & towels changed every 2/3 days, very good shower with hot water at all times & lovely view from balcony which was quite large, with table & 2 chairs and clothes-drying rack, wardrobe enough for 2 people with plenty of hangers.Pool area very quiet when we were there with no difficulty in getting loungers.Food very reasonable to other prices in resort and good quality too.All areas clean. The ''slope/hill/road'' up to Queen from the beach area would be a tad steep for some probably but I managed it with 2 dodgy knees and worth it for the view.
As per normal you do have to pay for safe & aircon (didn't use latter) and wifi per item if wanted.
Many thanks to Ann,Saff,Reyhan,Kemal,Alim & chef for making our 1st visit to Bitez a great one.
Hope to see you all in the future.....''Sally'' & co ;)

We stayed at the Queens Apartments in September . Most relaxing holiday we have both had in few years . The room was spacious clean as was the whole hotel . Saffi Ann Alim and Rayhan were most helpful n welcoming us and nothing was too much trouble for any of them . Rooms cleaned every day and sheets and towels changed frequently . Saffi n Ann had four beautiful girls who also made the holiday special just a short walk to the beach and other restaurants if you wanted to eat out, though the food was excellent at Queens there were beautiful views from the hotel . Yes the hill was a bit steep but that was the all the exercise you needed to do which after meals was good for you would recommend the Queens to anyone as it was just brill you can go into Bitez village by dolmas Gumbet only 10 minutes or so away and a trip to Bodrum is essential to visit the castle and marina and shops. Most of are evening meals eaten at Queens as food was excellent and that's saying something as my husband very fussy Ann n staff were good to accomodate all he needed and portions were big. Ann also supplied us with couple of mugs for our tea as they have small ones in room . We didn't want to leave after 10 days and cannot wait for holidays next year as i will definately be going back .

We stayed at the Queen Apartments in August. We found the apartment to be quite spacious for two people with a large balcony with a nice view of the boats. The apartment was cleaned every day and the sheets and towels were changed very frequently. We found the apartment to be on a par with most others we have had in various resorts in Turkey, no better but no worse. We bought mugs locally as there were only small cups and I cant comment on the cooking facilities as we didnt use them. The pool area is clean and attractive, although there are only 20 sunbeds for 16 apartments, so we struggled to get one for the first week. Irritatingly, people would put towels down and then disappear for the day, despite signs that reserving sunbeds was prohibited. We had a warm welcome from the owners but this became tepid during the first week as comments were made by Saff about us not using the restaurant. This may have been a joke but it made us uncomfortable and we felt that we were being forced to eat there. This was not a hardship as the food is lovely but I really didnt like feeling as though I had no choice in the matter.
We ate there four times and this seemed to appease him.
We found the extras at the Queen to be expensive. Expect to pay £90 for the safe and aircon for two weeks and £10 per week per gadget for wifi that doesnt work unless you are in a specific spot by the pool. Wifi is free in all of the other restaurants so just wait to check your email etc when you are in the beach or out in the evening. The aircon was adequate but I think it is ready for a service. We had to have it at 18 degrees to cool the room whereas we usually find 24 sufficient. The shower was good as we always had hot water whatever time we showered and the beds were comfortable. They are twin beds that have been pushed together but the mattresses have been placed horizontally to the bases. I found this very uncomfortable on the first night but I stripped the bed down and remade it so that we had a mattress each and it was very comfortable after that.
The service is excellent with the two young staff and the owners daughters being very attentive. The apartments have a lot of return visitors and you feel encouraged to socialise. Fine if that is what you want from your holiday, but myself and my husband go away to spend time with each other, not strangers. Because we kept to ourselves, Saff frequently asked if I was sad or in a bad mood. It got a bit wearing. We did enjoy our holiday at the Queen and the negatives were only little niggles and we would recommend the apartments but I feel they are better suited to people who go on holiday to make friends.

This was my first visit to bitez, having stayed previously in altinkum three years ago.
From the moment I arrived my stay at the queen apartments was a very memorable one. I travelled with my friend and neighbour who has stayed at the apartments before. When we arrived at 12ish in the evening we were given a very warm welcome from saffi and his wife Ann. Our cases were carried up to our room while we had a quick drink in the bar. The rooms were nice and airey and a lovely balcony view of the sea. The pool area was lovely, spotless and not too busy that u were fighting for sun beds. If you wanted a drink or snack by the pool it was brought up to you. The views from the pool area were amazing. Went down to restaurants on front, salamakis chinese is a must, lemon tree is nice too. If you are going into gumbet you must try cute caspers restaurant and they will take you home free of charge. A lot of the time we ate in the restaurant at the apartments. The food was second to none, there was a gud choice for breakfast and evening meals were great value for money and very generous portion. Try the steak pie, salmon, pizza and my favourite was roast beef dinner on Sunday. The staff alim and rhianne are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Saffi and Ann are so helpful and will help you anyway they can, they always go the extra mile for you to make your stay a memorable one.Their 4daughters were also at the apartments every day and are a credit to them , lovely girls.
I am from Baxenden , near accrington and saffi kept saying accrington Stanley. He is quite a character, full of cheer all the time and friendly banter.
Also met some really nice people from Ireland, robin and adrienne, and a lovely couple from Birmingham.
Would definitely recommend these apartments !!!!
Will be visiting again soon...

My original review was not allowed on here because the claims of 'fraud' .... so I'm going to have to tone down the content of my review so that it can be published for everyone to see.

The original review will be posted else where, try searching on Google properly for this hotel. But in short, I'll summarise this review;

1) The staff are very rude, both wife and husband (owners)
2) They think it's acceptable to charge £10 for wifi, per device.
3) They think it's acceptable to charge £35 for A/C per week.
4) They don't care about your reservation details if you have booked elsewhere.

Quite simply, this place is shocking. It's a real shame as after heaving read so many good reviews on here we thought we were going to a really nice hotel. However, we didn't even pass the reception area and ended up staying else where, not too far from here.

Save your money, your frustration and your holiday, go elsewhere.

Firstly this is a very unfair review as this 'person' never actually stayed at our apartments, so how can he comment and give unfair marks for 'cleanliness' 'sleep quality' 'rooms' and 'service'? If you read his review, he never even passed reception so how can he comment when he never even saw the rooms or pool area and our service.

What this 'person' forgot to mention is that their booking was for 4 people, but when they arrived at reception there was 5 of them. I explained that as their booking was only for 4 people they would have to pay extra for the 5th person. As his wife had already been rude to us (the owners) they then decided to go elsewhere.

It is by agreement with the tour company for air conditioning and wi-fi to be paid locally as is advertised in the brochure. As most of our guests are made through a tour company, how can they say that we do not want tour company guests? But please remember if you book for 4 people then only bring 4, or be prepared to pay the extra.

We would like to thank all of our guests who have sent in a good review, it makes all our efforts worthwhile, but also we would like to thank all our guests whether the review is good or bad.
