I can't tell you how wonderful it was to step into the courtyard of this hotel to a quiet, peaceful, serene place...all with friendly people and staff. The hotel is maybe 5 feet or 1.8 meters from the beach. It's a crowded town, full of tourists, but with a happy (not obnoxious) vibe. There's lots of restaurants, souvenir shops, jewlery shops, etc. and businesses to help you find something fun to do. There are windmills about three miles south east, which are fun to see. Bitez is located not far from Bodrum and its fun attractions. The hotel has fabulous breakfast buffet, super friendly and helpful staff. If you tire the beach, the pool in the courtyard is wonderful. The pool area has all sorts of stylish places to lounge and soak up some peace from the bustle of Bitez. Great budget hotel. Parking can be a challenge, but if you call the hotel or pop into the hotel to get a staff member, they will find a near by spot for you. Then tell you when one of their spots are available for you to park/repark..

Having just returned from a third stay at the Sah Hotel, we were not disappointed. This is a quaint family run hotel with only 12 rooms which means that it never appears to be too busy, ideal for a nice relaxing holiday.
The hotel is ideally situated to the beach and the various selection of restaurants on its doorstep, once again we arranged a pick up from the airport through the hotel, we were again collected by a friendly face this being Murat who will look after you during your stay at the Sah.
My wife's mother joined us on holiday and we requested two of the larger deluxe rooms when booking directly with the hotel, these were great as they were quite spacious and always cool, they were always cleaned to a high standard.
The pool area with its various flora and fauna was always maintained to a high standard and is a great area to relax and chill out in.
The hotel owners are never in your face but always make you feel welcome, Murat will also offer his time and take you to various out of town restaurants at a competitive rate.
This is a great little high quality hotel that allows you to chill out, we'll be back again.

Very soft hotel situated right at the beach. We appreciated the breakfast, the calm ambiance, the pool and the staff!
The bed was a bit to hard for us...
Very good location, we liked to go to the calmer parts by the Ataturk village.
Busstop right outside hotel to go to Bodrum, 15 minutes trip.

Certainly would recommend this pleasant well kept hotel on the beach in Bitez, the deluxe rooms mainly have their own balconies, we had a six foot by six foot six bed, bathroom very nice, cleaned every day, and certainly very comfortable. Murat and his brother charlie are the charming brothers who form the main staff team, they will look after you in every way. The pool is clean and the gardens well manicured,

Why not excellent? Breakfast is good with fresh fruit, yoghurt, turkish cheeses boiled egg and fresh bread daily. The sat TV in the bedroom had poor reception and the light above the bathroom mirror was live, we got a shock from it and reported it twice and it was not rectified, there is a badly worded info pack in the rooms that sort of forbids any of your own food, but there is a fridge in the room, the mini bar service has now gone (we wouldnt use it anyway).

Also the owner Mert does not possess great social skills, it is clear he is a business man with his eye on the profits. Either that or he was tired and it was the end of the season.

As I said, this hotel is scrupolously clean, fair value at 500 quid a week for B and B, very quiet and the staff are brilliiant. It is in a perfect location, right on the beach and in a very quite resort (for the end of the season anyway). But the minor details above stopped it from being excellent. To be fair though we did have a free upgrade from standard room to a deluxe

Final word is that I would strongly recommend it for couples who want a quiet beach hotel, twenty mins from Bodrum on the Dolmus, and good food in local restaraunts at exceptional value for the end of the season

Room Tip: Go deluxe and try and ask for Room 2 it is the best in the place, if you ask me

Found this gem of a hotel in the Lonely Planet and so glad I did! Only 20 mins from Bodrum (very easy to get to via the frequent turqouise coloured minibuses) - it retains a local charm which is now lost in most of the area.

What sets Sah apart is its location- mere steps from the beach. All rooms encircle the beautiful pool.

Our room was small but spartan and tidy- bedding was a bit thin but given the temperatures we didn't mind.

Mert, the owner is extremely pleasant. Breakfast- served poolside is filling and delicious.

We met several people who were returning year after year- and I can't blame them- this is a truly unique place. The guests were a mix of English and local Turkish which is always a good sign!

Only slight complaint not enough pool seating for everyone and by the time we arrived for breakfast many of the loungers had been claimed by guests who never turned up to use them until well into the afternoon. A few more loungers/chairs certainly couldn't hurt. Though it's very easy to find a spot to lounge on the adjacent beach.

Would be happy to return!

The Sah is a wonderful small hotel with an intimate charm and a beautiful garden. The place is flawlessly run by a lovely team and it's just 10 seconds to the beach. We had to tear ourselves away, but we'll certainly be coming back.

Room Tip: Room 2 is paradise
