My husband and I stayed at Babadan for a week to use simply as a base while we were conducting some business in Bodrum. It's a case of 'you get what you pay for'! While it met our basic needs - bed, bath and pool, it wasn't terribly clean and the furniture was shabby. The table and chairs provided were white plastic garden furniture, and the kitchenette was really bad. I know most people don't want to cook much on holiday but even making a sandwich was a challenge because of dirty crockery and ancient kitchen accessories. The shower was abysmal - a case of holding the dripping shower head in your hand and standing clear when the temperature fluctuated!
On the upside, the pool was quite good - clean, with loungers and umbrellas and we had it to ourselves most of the time. There is air conditioning in the bedroom. The elderly owners were friendly and there is a little shop across the road. It is quiet with lots of greenery around the apartments. Babadan is also conveniently located a short walk to the beachfront and the lovely restaurants there. It's next door to a nice hotel where you can avail of the spa and turkish bath facilities and restaurant.
So, if you go, remember 'you get what you pay for'!
