Loved my stay here! The hotel is between 3 to 4 stars but great value. It is right on the beach away from the noise of Gumbet but within easy walking distance to town. Staff are really friendly and accommodating, the food is great and the rooms are vey clean, spacious and great for what you pay for. Most have fantastic sea and pool views. The rooms are cleaned daily and the reception is manned 24hrs so very safe. Would highly recommend this hotel. Fantastic stay! Do not confuse this with Gumbet beach hotel which is not as good by all accounts.

Wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not a 4 star hotel. On arrival we were told that we would have to move rooms with a balcony room 2 days later (which I understand cant be helped), the reception staff wasnt really that helpful. The decor of the room was good, but live wires hanging out the ceiling from the lights was bit dangerous....Health & safety not thought of here. We didnt recieve messages from reps that we had organised trips on. They gave us the wrong time for transfer pick up, which lead to arguments. The breakfast at the hotel (which is done seperatly at Coconut beach - which is not part of the hotel) wasnt overly exciting. The staff though at Coconut Beach was really helpful and entertaining, including Spike. The prices at the bar though was too much considering that Barcardi Beach Bar was next door charging half the price. Overall the hotel itself was ok, but will not stay here again.

Me and my friend stayed here for 3 days Sept 2013 OMG it was disgusting!
The photos on the Travel republic website make it look 10 times better than what it looks in real life so dnt be taken in by the fake photos! The staff were friendly enough but this is defo not a 4 star hotel as advertised more like 2 star.
On arrival we were put in a room on second floor with no balcony which overlooked the old boat grave yard ha-ha we did laughed about this as we do have a sense of humor which you do need when you go to Turkey, the music from the hotel next door was at full blast as loud as a night club bar there wasn't even anyone at the bar so that seemed weird! no chance of an afternoon nap here lol The next day we were moved to a ground floor room which we did request when we booked. This room was ok but all you could smell was drains yuk! anyway we thought grin and bear its only 3 days and it was cheap 70 quid for 3 nights B&B anyway off out down to the beach we went where we ended up spending most of our time I must say it was lovely so it made up for the disappointment of the hotel.
P.S dnt bother getting out of bed for the breakfast it was horrid!
My advice would be find a cheap Turkish cafe and sample some real Turkish food.

Room Tip: !st floor maybe a better option to get away from the drains

Last september me and my friend enjoyed ourselfs at gumbet beach for 8 days. We had a great time. I would really recommand this place to you all. The hotel is litle but very quit, clean and at a good walking distance from the centre of Gumbet. The coconut beach is part of the hotel. We have enjoyed a lot of peacefull days there. The food and drinks are good and the staff is very, very friendly. Especially the guy 'Mel Gibson' who serves drinks on the beach. He made our days on the beach very relaxing. He was Always in for a chat, a joke and he really made our holiday even more perfect then it already was.

Okay so after reading all the reviews about this hotel I was very sceptical and worried about staying at Gumbet Beach Resort but we had such a lovely time! It was myself (21 years old), my brother (16 years old) and my mum.

The location is great it’s on the beach with free sunbeds which all the amazing staff save for Gumbet Beach Resort Guests. They constantly go around asking if you need drinks, food etc. Nothing is ever a chore for any of the boys esp Malik.

I have to say it definitely genuinely should not be a 4 star hotel but the main thing is it was spacious, clean and comfy.

We stayed bed and breakfast. It was okay but they never changed the food it was always the same but had fresh bread, cheese, olives, eggs, cheese bourak (pastry rolls filled with cheese), drinks etc. I was a bit funny about trying their food at dinner time at the restaurant but I must say it was excellent everything was freshly prepared down to the pizzas and garlic bread. We had a ‘sizzling platter’ which was a great, big smoked, sizzling fajita plate, we also had a fish platter which consisted of Fish fillets and Prawns with rice and salad. It was all lovely and delicious.

Gumbet as a whole was quite limited. It was full of English bars, cafes etc which I don’t really like so we found ourselves getting a cab into Bodrum marina in the evenings which was lovely full of restaurants serving fish, chicken etc. Coffee, ice cream and dessert shops with seating outside. There were also lots of shops selling clothes, designer bags, gifts etc.

I definitely would go back but not because of the hotel its self but because of the great time we had down to the friendly staff and the location on the beach.
