a wonderful small family run place, perfect for people who hate big hotels and hundreds of people round the pool.
They made us feel like family, it was wonderful the first time we went in 1999 and we have returned
almost every year since.
I recently won a £1000 voucher to spend on a holiday anywhere in the world and we chose to come here again. I suppose that says it all.

I hate to say it but anyone writing a good review about this hell hole can not have stayed anywhere else in Gumbet. I would not stay at Ozukara again if they paid me! When we arrived there was a huge pool of water on the floor where they had defrosted the fridge yet not cleaned it up. We had to ask for a cleaner 3 times before mopping it up ourselves. The room looked and smelt like it had never been cleaned. We had 2 towels between 3 of us, when we asked for more we were told there wasnt enough towels to supply one to every guest! the following day we managed to get 1 more towel and a roll of toilet paper finally. these 3 towels lasted us 10 days as they were never replaced. The sheets on the fold out bed were replaced once and the sheets on the beds were not changed for the entire holiday. we had to empty the bins ourselves and leave it in the hallway. The room was swept once in our entire stay yet the cleaner left the brush for us... how kind of lazy git! The tap on the shower had corroded away and fell off, we had to use 1 of our 3 towels to turn the tap on after i cut my finger open on the broken one! It took 4 days to get it fixed. We had no hot water for the first part of the holiday. The bathroom was caked in crap and mould. The toilet broke which i ended up fixing myself and the open sewer pipe next to the toilet was enough to make me feel sick every time i looked at it. Ozukara may be cheap but thats all it is!

We checked in here at last min notice due to horrendous pre booked accommodation else where in gumbet. We has a lovely apartment, clean, private, spacious and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again
