I travelled with my four sisters to this hotel, on arriving we were allocated rooms on the top floor but one of my sisters is recovering from a hip operation, but a quick trip to reception and we were then allocated rooms on the ground floor, only snag was that they backed right onto the children's play area, but because it was early season there wasn't many children there (relief) .All of the staff are really friendly and can speak good English, I know this shouldn't be expected but it does help if you can communicate with someone. We had a problem with our room keys but this was very quickly resolved. Michelle who was our rep from Thompson was very knowledgable about the local area and was also really good fun, lots of tips given. The hotel offers a mini bus service into bar street just after the bar has closed, we took advantage of this a couple of times, only on the last occasion we were left stranded in bar street has no one seem to know where the driver was!! The hotels entertainment was hardly existent and I put this down to being early season but even so I feel there should have been something on in the evenings, there was music playing but that's all. There was one animation guy called Eto who was very friendly and good fun but he did like to talk to the ladies, so if there was lady's there was no animation if you get my meaning. The food in the restaurant suited three of us but you will never go hungry as there is always something you can eat. You can get McDonald's delivers to the hotel and even dominoes pizza, you just have to ask at reception and they will order for you. The general manager walks around the hotel and talks to the guests which I think is a nice touch. We did a boat trip while we were there and it cost £8 which included a Turkish bath. Well worth having, we booked this through Margaret tours which can be found in Gumbet. The hotel has access to the beach which is a two minute walk away but it is not very clean so we stayed by the pool. The hotel slides are really good fun they have two smaller ones for children and three larger ones for adults, we love them, (big kids I know) . There is a spa,and hairdressers in the hotel grounds which quite a lot of guests enjoyed myself personally thought the spa was too expensive and you can definitely get cheaper outside.W e had sonnet really good nights out in lower bar street and the prices are a little cheaper than main bar street, remember to ask the price of a efes before you go into the bar, And you will be pleasantly surprised. Lots of bargains to be had in the shops but you have to remember it is genuine fake, barter, barter, barter, they love it, some can be quite miserable but others are really funny. There is a local market on a Sunday not very big and all the stuff they sell you can get in the shops just be careful if buying that they put the right size into your bag as they will not exchange once cash has changed hands. Would I return to this hotel , yes I would if my sisters hip gets better has there was lots of steps x

My wife and I stayed in this hotel during early May. We are a middle aged couple and are vastly experienced travellers. The hotel's presentation was immaculate, all areas were extremely clean, the hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The food was presented well, there was a wide choice of local and european meals. The chef's were friendly and helpful and the floor staff immaculate and most amicable. We cannot thank the staff enough for making our stay most enjoyable. Special thanks to Hussain (Tom), Ishmael (Smile) and "Bicky" whose service was impeccable. Great location Bodrum a good 20 min walk over the hill, fantastic views of both bays from the 'windmills' and a 5 min walk into Gumbet. We're not children friendly when on holiday and there was a rather 'loud' family that tended to hog the pool and bar area. But hey ho! we're all entiitled to enjoy ourselves in our own way. Well done to all.

We spent two weeks here, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so helpful and friendly, we visited in early May so there wasn't much entertainment for the children, however, staff at the hotel tried their best to put some entertainment on during the day and evenings.
The food was great and the restaurant compiled a different dish every day for the two weeks we were there, The hotel is close to local shops and the rooms were spacious and modern, the rooms were cleaned every day but there are no irons in the rooms or available from reception.
There is a turkish bath on site together with a barber/beauty salon. We cannot fault the place as it went beyond our expectations, a very pleasant resort indeed,

Well to start with on arrival we were given top floor rooms, however due to one of the party not able to do steps we requested a move, the staff could not do enough for us. Rooms were quickly sorted and we were greeted by the friendly bar staff! The only draw back was as we were all adults are rooms were facing the park, yep not a child in sight for us but to sit on the balcony yep we had loads of kids playing in the park. Anyway, it was rather cloudy the first day but we met the lovely Goran who helped us book a Turkish bath on site, it was ok it but the sauna was not working so did we get the full effect! Also we found a cheaper turkish bath called sultan Turkish bath and they collect you from your hotel and return you also don't forget to barter the price we got Turkish bath massage and face mask for £10 but on site it cost us £32. Well worth having it done though. We also met the animation team well there was only one as it was the start of the season however he did try his very best Eto ( unsure how your name is spelt) sorry! He never knew my name as he nicknamed me Princess bless. Food was very nice there was always something to eat, we met the general manager of the hotel however I am not sure if he knows that the bar by the pool, stop serving at 10.55 when they should stop at 11. My suggestion would be to have a clock behind the bar and the staff can then go by this to avoid any confusion or complaints from guests. CATS are allowed to roam freely when the restaurant was closed and it was soup time I only went up once on my last night but they were freely working along the tops were the hot food is served I am glad it was my last night when I saw it! Thompson rep Michelle is lovely please talk other as she has lots of knowledge regarding trips etc. we booked independently as some of our party had been before.

We met loads of lovely guests and even went out on a couple of ladies nights, once to bar street and once to see dream girls fab show but if you with your husband he better be prepared to be picked on! Good fun though.

Overall we had a fab time but the we always do, hotel was nice enough but do be prepared to pay for extras like wifi I feel this should be included in the price I have never had to pay before and also the bars in town there is free wifi. Also my hotel key stopped working ohhh at least once a day so we were not able to get in our room at one point I had four men trying to unlock the door! And be prepared to give tips as at the end of your holiday the bar men start to rattle the tip box at you, again is the manager aware and Thompson rep? We did give tips but only to the staff we felt deserved them. Also on my last night the lovely Goran was told he was no longer required to help promote turkish bath, but then maybe if they did not out price themselves they would have more customers. oh also sorry to go on but if you want McDonalds reception are more than happy to order for you and u get it delivered!

We are sorry to hear that the bar staff started hinting at the tip box toward the end, and we'll most definitely address this issue.

I have just returned on Friday 17th May from a great stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived to the day we left the staff we ever so friendly. Hotel was lovely, food was great and the rooms were comfortable and really big. Within the hotel you have 5 water slides, 2 which run off to a small pool then 3 which run off to a deeper pool, one big pool and a small baby pool. Then on the grounds there is a park with swings, slides and also a kids club (which my daughter of 3years loved to spend most of her time) watching cartoon network. Music is played throughout the day and then gets turned off during siesta (which i dont agree with) as do the slides. Outside of the hotel , literally a minute walk there is a big park for the kids to play in and also gym like equipment which the kids loved which and is just on the sea front. The beach is not that nice, its more pebbles than sand. There is a bus (dolmush) which stops outside your hotel every 5 minutes and takes you into Bodrum centre where there is a market on a Tuesday. There is a shopping centre with big brand names/ shops, bowling alley and a fair ground at Oasis which is in bodrum. McDonalds and Domino's pizza which both delivery to your hotel if you dont want travel, reception or the animation team will sort this out for you. There is lots of restaurants along the beach and also bar street - 10 minute walk from the hotel. We ate out at Red Dragon which was lovely, tempo which i wasnt too keen on and also uncle festers (really nice) and family door. We had a girlie night out and went to Temple, Karaoke bar, xbar, shakers and atlantis which are all good lively bars. Jet skees on the beach are great fun and a boat trip where they take you to a mud bath, kamal beach and then to another island to see tropical fish (rubbish) i wouldnt buy a boat trip from the people along the beach, id go through your holiday rep. The pool bar on a night stops serving drinks at 11pm, but you can buy drinks until 2am. 10lyra a vodka mix and 5lyra for beer. Overall we had a fantastic holiday at Bodrum Beach so are thinking about booking up again next year, but not at the beginning of May as the season hadn't started so there was no entertainment for the children (which i mention to the hotel) but when we were leaving at the end of May it was starting to pick up so if/ when i am to book up it will be the end of May.

Just returned from a week in this hotel and what a really good week we have had, we arrived like most people at silly o clock in the morning, but this is no trouble, we were checked in and allocated a room on the top floor as requested.

The bell boy took our cases to our room, and went through all the bits in the room and left us too it, not hanging around for a tip either-which I thought was brill. The rooms were massive, but we had been given a suite, and not a normal twin room which we booked, but we didnt complain.

The restaurant is excellent, but us Brits always find something to complain about, the food is of a great standard and plenty of it.

If you book with Thomsons, your Rep will be Michelle - She is bloody brilliant, not your normal holiday Rep, she knows everything and will sort you anything at all, but does not push you to go on any trips like normal. We went on a couple of trips and we had notes under our doors asking if we had a good time from herself. Really positive and welcoming, which is really nice.

There is limited entertainment in the hotel, but id recomend the Turkish Bath, really good and relaxing to start your holiday off well.

You can get the "Dolmush" into Bodrum, from outside the hotel but you need to cath the Blue Number 1 bus back, not the Green, as this takes you the far side of Gumbet, miles from the hotel-a few people in the hotel made this mistake.

The only downside was the Turkish Shop Keepers trying to get you into the shops all the time, some of the comments they make are rather rude and off putting, but I dont thisnk they actually know what they mean.

All in All, We had a great holiday, Great Hotel, Great Rep, Great Food, Great People (Apart from the 1 family in the hotel that were well known) and a Great Location - with nearly great weather, but it wasnt the best if im honest all week.

Room Tip: This hotel is on both sides of the room, Request to be on the Main site where Reception is, and if y...

Just returned from a great stay in this hotel. We booked it literally because it was cheap but it was far better than anything we could have hoped for. We arrived at an ungodly hour in the morning and check in was extremely smooth followed by a bell boy taking our bags to the room for us. Room was massive, clean and included a kitchenette, sofa, dining table and television in bedroom and living room.

Food was good throughout the week and there is an abundance of staff who are always on hand to help and most of them speak a large amount of English.

Michelle the Thomson rep was exceptional going above and beyond the level of any rep we have had before.

Only draw back is that there was no entertainment in the evenings which forced people out of the hotel to find something to do however Gumbet doesn't come alive until late night so this was slightly difficult.

Room Tip: Ensure you book on the main complex side of the road as the rooms have been updated and where possib...
