me & my boyfriend have just got back from bodrum beach hotel in gumbet and ive got to say we were pleasantly surprised, its a lovely hotel, our room was lovely, large bathroom, and dinning area with balcony looking onto the sea front, I had seen photos of other peoples rooms and was worried, but when we got there I was really shocked, but very happy,, the only little thing was the bed! it was the most comfiest after 4 days it got a little annoying.... the hotel and staff are absolutely brilliant, so friendly and the Turkish bath is a must, £30 for a steam, foam and massage, face mask, reflexology,& head massage we were in there for 2 hours and they really did look after u, its an experience u wont forget, me and my partner loved it, I wanted another one but sadly didn't have the funds. id recommend getting it the first day to prep your skin for your tan, I cant recommend it enough, it was fabulous a big thanks to the staff.... the grounds themselves are beautiful, small pool, and small animation team who were very accomadating. now here comes the bad bit, the food!!! its not good at all, both of us suffered bad stomaches from day one for 7 whole days, we didn't eat anywhere else, so it must of been some kind of bad bacteria in the food or drink, tbh the food was cheap, flavourless and bland, it was the same more or less every day, im sorry to say it but the food is the reason we wont b going back to the hotel, unless they would sort it out as its a big problem and a lot of people we spoke to didn't like the food either. it was discusting. I hope the hotel sorts it out because the hotel would b very good else. we had photos from the hotel too, absolutely fantastic photographers and couldn't do enough for you, I would recommend the photoshot they take u on the beach when the sun is setting, lovely photos, its £4 a photo and u have to have at least 13, but im glad I did it as the photos are the best ive ever had x we loved the hotel and staff, its a brilliant resort but the food and drinks let it down which is a massive shame.
