Well what can i say , the rooms are very nice and the pool was really clean, we found that the drinks were very expensive at the hotel itself but cheap elsewhere. The staff were happy to help you with any problems. On one occasion when opening the bathroom window, the whole frame including the window came out which i took to reception lol, it was repaired quickly with everyone laughing.

Gumbet is a nice place especially the boat trips, were if your lucky you will see the dolphins that do dibbi dibbbbi diiiiibbbi noises will show up. I recommend Harrys boat trip outside the baba hotel to see the special dolphins, the food on the boat trip was really nice (chicken, pasta & salad).

If you want to eat out I recommend the family door, just beside the serpina. The food here is 10/10 really nice best I've had for a long time.

Room Tip: facing the pool is the best rooms

An excellent hotel with an ideal location. Away from all the party areas so very quiet however only a 2 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars with a 2 minute walk to the beach. The hotel is clean and tidy throughout, all members of staff make an effort to learn your names and make you feel welcome. The staff are very friendly and will do anything to help you. The pool is large and there is never a struggle to find a sunbed. The food is amazing with a wide range to choose from. The transfer is only 45 minutes. An excellent hotel and i would definitely recommened.

Room Tip: Pay for air conditioning (80 lira = £22) as soon as you get there, the rooms get very hot

Upon arriving to the hotel, i did not find that the staff were very friendly or helpful. I was made to pay an extra £20 per night for my partner to stay in my room, even though it was a twin room that i had already paid for upon booking. The pool area was very quiet, not many loungers available. I was once waiting for over 40 minutes for the waiter to take my order, and I left as a result, due to other couples having their orders taken before mine. However, on a positive note, the rooms were very clean, and the cleaners did come on a daily basis to change towels & bed sheets. My only complaint was that the room was rather small.

Room Tip: I chose a twin room with minibar. Although as the room was very small, i would recommend a larger su...

Just returned from 2 weeks, half board at the serpina...

Such a lovely place to stay! Great staff, so attentive, warm and welcoming, like family!

The food is great, Typical Turkish cuisine, always really tasty!

The pool area is beautifully clean, pool is cleaned every morning, and tidied spotless every evening. There are plenty of dimness and parasols.

The pool itself does not have a shallow end as such, but goes from 150cm to 165cm deep, (at 5ft2) I was on tip toes to keep my head above water in the 'shallower end'! But you can buy pool noodles, floats etc everywhere!!!! The kids pool 60cm deep is good for a cool off though too!

The rooms are small but comfortable with plenty of storage for clothes and cases.

The bathroom is standard, no hot water first thing though! Solar heated I guess, not a problem in the height of summer though!

Air con was about 80 lira a week if I remember right, and safe box 30lira I think!

Thanks again everyone at serpina xxx

The hotel is ideally situated, it is close to the beach and bars/restaurants, but far enough away from the noise. The hotel has great facilities and the pool area is great. The staff were very welcoming and made extra effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The Serpina is an excellent place to stay and I would certainly return.

Just returned after a 7 night stay ! We are a couple in our late forties and was slighly apprehensive about it being small and friendly ! Well what can I say :) so wanna go back because it ticked all the boxes . Its run by a smashing guy called Ali along with all his fantastic staff x the rooms are pretty basic but definatley all you require , after all holidays in my opinion are not about dossing in rooms ! The location of the hotel is simply perfect , just a stone throw from the beach and all your bars and restaurants are round the corner but far enough not to disturb u ! The pool is great so clean and really a great size ! The food is great and if u struggle ali the chef will quite happily cook you something else x if I were to voice any negatives I suppose the only thing that annoyed us was we had to pay for air con ! But it was in the small print and I didnt see it :( if your looking for a reasonable priced hotel in a great location with fantastic attentive staff then book the serpina ! U will not be disappointed ! We cant wait to return x so thanku to u all that made our stay truly enjoyable love les & jan from portsmouth england xx

We have just returned from the most amazing two weeks at the serpina! This is our second time here, Staying half board was fabulous, totally recommended, chef Ali is one amazing cook! As someone who can be a fussy eater I tried and enjoyed everything Ali cooked! From the moment you arrive you are very well looked after, the staff remember everyone's names, drinks orders what food you like, everything! The Turkish night on a Wednesday and karaoke night on a Sunday are not to be missed! All staff get involved! The pool is always clean and we had no trouble getting sun loungers. Our room was spacious, air con, safety box, mini bar, and lovely terrace over looking the pool. I would recommend request a pool view room when booking. This hotel is ideal for families and couples it's close enough to bar street, around a 10 min walk if you want the party night life yet far enough away that you don't get the noise. There are some quieter bars on your door steps also! And staying in the hotel bar sometimes we forgot to head out!Going out and about we enjoyed the Sami plaza just down the road Ali baba loves his karaoke, there's no pushing to make you sing either you can just sit and enjoy, uncle festers is great for a lunch out and a large efes is only 5 lira (£1.48) Try Turkish baths, boat trips, the market, and water sports, all very good and reasonable, we tend to ask the staff at serpina (again a taste of their great service) to organise them for us as they can get the best rate and it works out cheaper than booking with the thomsons rep.
All in all the hotel is by far the best we have ever stayed in 5*s we have previously stayed in don't compare I can't praise them enough!
Team serpina thanks again for another year, see you next year!
