Just got back from a week in the magnific and i can say that it was just that magic. The rooms are small but extreamly well decorated in a contempary style. All rooms have t.v and air con and you have a safe in your romm as well.
All the surrounding garden areas are smart and well kept and at night they are lit up .
The pool area is large with sunloungers and beds everywhere. The only slight issue is the depth of the pool 1.7mtr all over so no shallow areas for non swimmers and children.
The hotel is straight onto the beach and there are loads of sunbeds and bathing areas for everyone. The bar area is well set out with lots of seats and bean bags for people to sit at.
There are two happy hours at the bar everyday 2-4-1.
Food at the hotel is excellent.Turkish style breakfast but plenty of it.
The staff are more than attentive and work long hours ,but are always happy to help.
There is entertainment three nights of the week and they show all the football that they can get.
All in all a fantastic getaway and we hoping to go again later this year.

Yep, mixed reviews on Trip Dvisor, new destination...the worries are inherent!! Have no fear here though, what a pleasant surprise. Clean rooms (everyday), aircon, the best pool area in Gumbet (we cheked), on the beach, friendly staff and easy access to Bodrum and other towns by quaint little bus!!!! Okay so a little noise at night from nightlife in Gumbet...ask for a quieter room. Oh and get to breakfast before the masses at 8.30, not 9, also grab your towel on the way out your room and book a place next to the pool or on the beach on the way to breakfast. Turkish bath was good at hotel, but cheaper elsewhere. Soho restuarant has good food as well. Enjoy two happy hours a day next to the pool! Otherwise, can't believe our luck with this hotel! Oh and you have to go on the 5-site boat trip....30 tly and includes a nice lunch....

We had a lovely week in the magnific. It is located directly on the beach and was excellent value. the staff made a great effort to be helpful. The room was lovely although I heard from other guests that their rooms hadn't been renovated yet and were disappointing. I wasn't mad about the food in the hotel, nor really about Gumbet itself but Bodrum is easily accessible by Dolmus and we thought it was lovely. Overall, a great place for a break in the sun.

We recently spent 1 week here on a half board basis and what a lovely time we had. The food is magnificent with the senior chef overseeing all the mealtimes. The gardens are beautiful and the grounds of the hotel are lovely with changing lights all along the paths. The rooms are very modern and well equipped, ladies don't worry about taking your hairdryer. Maid service everyday, the waiters work very long hours, the boys are serving breakfasts and will still be serving you drinks at 11pm at night!! but will still be smiling. The only worry here is the depth of the pools, although very beautiful to look at the signs say 1.70-1.72 deep, this is not the case, i am 5ft 5in and could not touch my feet on the bottom, this is only a problem if you are not a very confident swimmer or the kids jump in, just be aware! But to sum up we really didnt want to come home, its beautiful. Have fun.
