There's hardly any English people that stay at this hotel ! Many really rude Russians who don't want to talk to English people unless its pervy old Russian men who want to chat you up ... The staff are the same don't want to be polite unless your tipping them or sleeping with them (I got the waiters writing me silly letters about how thay love me whilst I was eating breakfast) the staff also don't like it if you want to drink alcohol and have a laugh around the bar in the evenings ! Most nights thay accused us of being drunk and would refuses to serve us anymore alcohol when we was actually fine! A lot of turkish people stay at this hotel who again I found either really rude or really pervy. The hotel rooms were dirty , mine was cleaned once the whole week and after thay cleaned it the floor was still dirty lol .. It was a cheap last minute deal so I'm not that fussed but if your saving up all year and making this your one big holiday then go somewhere eles . . Gubet itselfs okay .. Bars and clubs were fun (expensive at around £8 for a vodka and coke) .. Streets are dirty but I had fun . Would return to gumbet but not in a hurry , wasn't the best place I've been . Oh and hotel foods awfull , I ended up just eating out

Where to start? We stayed there 4 nights we couldn't have stayed more. From the first sight when we entered the reception things weren't looking well at all. Really old furniture in the room ,lumpy bed so we didn't sleep much first night. Lack of mini bar no shampoo or even toilet paper , inside quite funny smell. Next morning after breakfast we changed room to one on the bottom which was a bit better( at least toilet paper was there ).surprisingly the food wasn't that bad (edible ). If U happen to be there don't eat sausages. From the drinks they had vodka, gin, beer, red and white wine that's all.the beach was really small, and 170 steps down from the hotel.(personally counted) Staff was good with picking up glasses and cleaning tables but u can't say the same thing about cleaning the rooms which was limited to changing towels. Once we saw a cleaner sleeping on sb's bed :0 . If u have limited budget for holiday and u r not with kids then its bearable otherwise squeeze more cash from yr credit card and get sth better. If u wanna stay in the hotel through all yr vacation that's not the place for sure cos its boring. We were mostly out enjoying bodrum so that worked for us well. Personally we will never go there again unless they pay us to stay there lol. Avoid this place

This was a catastrophe until we moved to another hotel. The first room was disgusting and we could not stay. The second room was only passable for a night. The room was too small, the furniture was MDF and looked to have been knocked together by a 7 year old. There was one small window and nowhere to sit. The steps were impossible around the whole site. The place was dirty and wasn't up to standard especially the smell. The number wating for transfers was ridiculous, THANK GOODNESS OUR REP GOT US OUT , we only had to put up with 2 nights.

Room Tip: Find another hotel.

we've been going to turkey for five years and have stayed in two star accommodation that was cleaner than this! it is totally unsuitable for disabled people and small children as there are soooo many steps. the hotel is in dire need of refurbishment, and staff that keep it clean. we were put in this hotel because ours had closed for season? we were there for 11 days and tried to get different hotel because this one was so dirty, our room was cleaned once the whole time we were there and the faults we reported were never dealt with.staff werent helpful and there were only three types of alcoholic drinks available[supposed to be all inclusive]. to top it all we ended up with food poisoning! worst holiday ever!

Room Tip: if you still intend going here get a room near reception as they apparently are cleaned every day

This hotel was advertised as 4 star, but should be a 2 star. On arrival everyone was offered a horrible, dingy room and left there if they didn't complain. We complained and were moved the next day to the bottom of 360 steps near the beach, lovely room, but had climb up 200+ steps to reach the pool and a further dozen or so to the 'restaurant' because the lower restaurant was closed. Food was 2 star quality, though prepared well and if you like salad, cold soup and bread then you will be ok. Staff were friendly if you made the effort with them. All incl drinks only consisted of wine, beer, gin and vodka (which tasked the same) and usual soft drinks, had to pay after 11 pm. Hotel in need of full refurb and either a lift or cable car up the steep hill is a must, there were elderly guests who couldn't move around the hotel and were stuck.

Room Tip: Make sure you complain on arrival and they will move you.
