“Not bad for the price we paid.”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

Just got back from a one week stay (26/5-2/6). On arrival at approx. 12.30 at night we were taken on a LONG journey to our apartment (room 323). On entering, we were not impressed. The curtains didn't fit the window, the cupboard door was hanging off in the kitchen and the bedroom and beds were damp. We traipsed all the way back to reception to complain and were told we could move the next morning. When we got back to the room we noticed the kettle had disappeared (it was there when we arrived). The next morning we spoke to our next but one neighbours who weren't impressed with their room either, seems they had no kettle when they arrived but they were given one not long after....no doubt ours! We were all moved to different rooms. Our new room was lovely...I think they must try to put all new arrivals in those rooms we were originally in and if they don't complain they stay there, it seems they were moving people around all the time. I must admit though that they were very helpful and did their best to please. The rooms were cleaned every day, although we had to ask for clean sheets and towels regularly as I think sometimes they were just folded back up and put back on the shelf. We didn't spend much time in the apartments at night as we went out with friends staying nearby but it did seem lively on our return. The highlight is the rooftop pool. We spent most days there as it was so peaceful and the views are spectacular! Would I go back again?...I don't think I'd book to go there again, but if I was put there, I wouldn't be too disappointed as it was good value for money.

Room Tip: If your given rooms in the 320's refuse to go, its a long way there and you wont want to stay th...

Originally meant to be staying in Jasmin beach but so glad we got moved to Siesta Beach. 3 young girls first time in turkey and the hotel and staff couldn't have made it better.

The hotel is a bit lively at night but our room was located far enough away that you couldn't really hear the noise. The staff were amazing!! Food and drink around the pool are both reasonably priced. Two pools with one being further through the hotel with the most breathtaking views of Gumbet bay. Definitely the more chilled of the two pools. For the time of year we went there was plenty of sunbeds but not too sure how it would be in high season.

We went to Turkish night on the Friday which we would highly recommend. Amazing food and entertainment and one of the best nights of the holiday. When we did venture out there was plenty of resteraunts near by and bar street was either a 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride (wouldn't recommend the Turkish driving though!)

The rooms were clean and spacious, plenty of room for 3 messy girls. They were also cleaned regularly and we were lucky enough to be quite high up with a lovely view of the bay. Looking into coming back in October as we loved it that much. Would definitely recommend for people looking for a chilled holiday with a bit of lively atmosphere.

Room Tip: For families request a room further back so it's not as noisy of a night time. Also a room with...

Just back from 1 week self catering at Siesta Beach. Studio apartment was immaculate. Room adequate for myself and 15 year old daughter. Bathroom very modern and spotless. We never actually used the kitchen facilities (2 ring electric hob and kettle). The Siesta is practically on the beach. Free sunbeds are available. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Organised entertainment was very poor. Nothing to do for families with children/young adults. The wifi signal is non-existent in the apartments, though limited signal can be found round the pool area and at the beach. There are two pools - one at ground level and one at the top (this is the one seen on the advertisement) Plenty to do around Gumbet though. Loads of bars/restaurants/shops. If you've not been to this area before expect to be stopped every 2 seconds by the locals trying to get you to buy their food/clothes etc. All in all, had a great time. left just as the temperature started to climb in to the 30's. We booked our holiday via Jet2. Prices very competitive. Rep at welcome meeting was useless. Unless you wanted to buy an outing or other product he wasn't interested in telling you anything about the hotel facilities or area in general. We booked Turkish Bath and boat trip through one of the vendors on the beach which was cheaper than via the rep. Hope this helps anyone thinking of using the Siesta Beach. Fi & Amanda

Stayed here 13th-20th May 2014 and had a brilliant week! Great value for money around Gumbet and Bodrum! Food at the hotel is incredible, cannot fault it! Service by bar and pool staff is great so friendly and helpful cannot do enough for you always making sure your okay! Great banter from them all making the stay fun! Very clean and tidy around pool area and rooms are serviced everyday. Very trustworthy people!! Easy to get into Bodrum centre by the blue bus that picks you up right outside hotel front for 3 lire (80p) Looking to book to come back again later in the year - can't wait!! :)

It's near the nightlife and pretty much on the beach. The pool area was always busy with music and for a group of 8 girls on holiday, good fun. The apartments were decent with air con and the staff were outgoing. It was next to a few other hotels, so you are never short of company :)

Arrived the first week of sept to major sunshine and around 32 degrees, with the locals finding it chilly!!
Came into reception and treated by two lads who got us quickly checked in. As I had stayed in Turkey before we got through the drill of paying for safety deposit box and air con very quickly.

We had a room up some stairs and along a lovely pathway full of vines and flowers looking out to the hills. The room itself then was in a little block of about five side by side.......a little terrace in the shade (which was welcome) and shall we say errr basic. Even more basic than the one I had stayed in before....

Living area, fine, sofa thing, small table, dodgy tv with a few channels and a kettle that didn't turn off. Bedroom...two beds, a wardrobe and some drawers. Oh and a window that didn't open, which was actually out to someplace we could never see as when we turned our lights on a light went on out there too. Weird.

Anyways basic it was but we are not there for the room.

Everything super close by. Beach is amazing. Take the bother to walk down abit to were the hammocks are....we had a fabulous lazy day down there, a super lunch, glass of beer and then some glorious waffles with fruit and ice cream from the restaurant behind us....if you get some food or drinks there they do not charge for the hammocks or beds.

Food, well the steaks are amazing. The closer you are to centre of own the more you pay. But we honestly paid the equivalent of £18 for both of us having garlic mushrooms, 10 oz steaks with everything going, melon, coffee, a btl of wine and a beer.....not to shabby.
Best places are The Mistral and Windy Bay. The bars etc along the sea front are nice and quiet but once you go up the side of The Mistral and up into town things get more lively.

Book some trips! Especially water sports.....so so so cheap!! We did parasailing and it was fantastic. Really well run and safe as houses.

Buy your fake goods and pay the REP for extra luggage allowance, it was £15 for an extra 5 kg....well worth it!

The hotel itself was fine, and you can use the place next door the Tropicana which was far better. Nicer pool, more craic at the bar etc. Siesta at night was dead as a door nail which suited us, coming back around 1-2am we didn't have to fight our way back to our room. We didn't eat at the hotel at all.....oh we had one lunch by the pool...it was grand, nothing special but nice service and no drama. Good thing is the siesta has two pools , the roof top one was fab with a nice breeze.

All in all a great week away, cheap as chips and no crowds of looney toons going mad! Lots of kids about and the staff are lovely.

It does what it says on the tin....

Room Tip: If you don't like anything say nicely....get all uppity and you will get nowhere.
