We were placed in this apparently 3* hotel by Olympic holidays. On arrival the hotel had a queue of people waiting at reception with complaints and the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. It took us 3 hours to eventually get our room.... a very dirty, gloomy basement room with a tiny window. In one room was a broken telly, a rotting desk/dresser and two very grubby looking beds. in another was a filthy armchair!! the bathroom door was rotting and rusting and the room looked filthy. As it was 1.30am we decided to sleep and try to sort out being moved in the morning. I perched on the side of the bed and the leg at the bottom of the bed collapsed... on inspection the 2nd leg looked very rickety too and had obviously been repaired badly on numerous occasions.

On reporting this to reception the manager sent two boys down to the room to inspect it. They attempted to fix it by putting 1) a draw under it and 2) a fire extinguisher under it!! eventually they broke the other leg of the bed and told us that that would have to do until the morning as they had no other rooms or beds! The manager was actually laughing when he told us this.... I ended up sleeping on a slope!

Olympic did eventually move us just before dinner to a much nicer hotel (but charged us!)

We had to spend a day here and in that time other than the state of the rooms, we also noted that there were about 6 people to every sun lounger, the pool was crammed and the 'beach' is tiny and a long walk down lots of steps! The food was awful and the restaurant was like a canteen - queuing for food and sitting on long tables. We had a lucky escape!!

Me and a friend stayed here for a week in July 2012 it's not as bad as every1 says. For us it was good for what we wanted, we only paid £300 all inc so we weren't expecting luxury. The rooms are poor but adequate we did change rooms as the first was dirty and no balcony however the 2nd was a lot better. The food is ok however gets same old after a few days so we did eat out a bit.! The location was gOod for us NR to everything. The pool is clean the beach is small however a 5 min bus ride takes you to a bigger beach. The sun chairs around the pool are a joke tho most of them broke! The Turkish bath was lovely!! Hardly any English there.

Arrived at 2am, was offered a room under the swimming pool, refused this then offered another room with a hole in the ceiling which smelt terrible of urine, hotel said they did not have any more rooms, i then asked for no of british embassy, they then offered us another room which was better, but aircon leaked water on the bed, food is disgusting only had bedding changed once while we were there, had to ask regulary for clean towels, all sunbeds were broken, filthy areas, dont book this hotel, and i got food poisoning from this hotel, flies every where, no fly extractors in the dining areas. Staff were realy worked and most were lovely. Met owner from this hotels whom advised us it was a 2 star not a 4.

we arrived at 2.30am we got put into a very basic room it was like a prison cell,as we was both so tierd we slept the nite in it,next morning we complained and was offered a choice of 2 rooms i couldnt beleave the difference,we choose the ground floor room facing the beach, the bathroom n shower was lovely, the food was basic but what do u expect we only paid £3oo each we met the owner 2nites before we left and told him some home truths beleve it or not he was taking it all in, we was telling him engish people dont want 2eat salad and boiled eggs for breakfast,we told him english people would like a full english at least once a week, two woman who we met was with us and we all agreed we missing a good breakfast, next minute the owner of the hotel was on his phone and arranged all 4 of us 2go to one of his other hotels in gumbet for a full english breakfast, the owner even picked us up at 9am and took us 2the other hotel,we was treated like royalty,we still could use all the facilty in the hotel,i would say all the staff was wonderful espeacially sally the barman he never stopped and always were there to help you,we had only one fault there is loads of steps too many i supose they should invest in a lift and if you cant climb at least 200 steps its not for you ,but from that we enjoyed our holiday the weather was great the staff and owner was great.

Room Tip: if u dont like your room complain the best rooms are at the bottom and everyone we spoke to changed there room and were happy

Me and my boyfriend arrived in June during the afternoon, when we got into reception we didn't think it looked too bad considering we were expecting a dump. After waiting for about ten minutes for someone to pay attention to us standing at reception we were taken to our room, the bell boy was friendly but didn't speak much English, as we were walking to our room another English couple said to us before we even reached our room that we should try and find another hotel..so obviously we didn't have much hope. We got to our room, it looked very basic, the balcony had a wire hanging over our heads and our view was a brick wall. The taps in the bathroom were FILTHY, the shower door was broke so the bathroom floor was flooded after our first shower, you couldn't even fit the both of us into the bathroom together. I did not feel safe and the doors were not secure. I didn't sleep all night so the next day we had to pay extra to change hotels. Do not go to this hotel, I gave it a chance but honestly, DO NOT DO IT.
