we arrived 2nd June for our honeymoon and were dismayed to find the pool was not ready for the first two days, the staff said it would be ready the second day but that was later in the afternoon. We went all inclusive but after 2 days the bar was dry of vodka, the alcohol options were Gin, Vodka, beer or wine. As it was all inclusive we expected to be allowed to drink not stupidly but possibly about 7 or 8 per day each, this did not work out and we were made to feel that we were alcoholics with comments made about our drink intake even though we were never stupidly drunk. At one point a staff member was talking turkish behind a plate when we ordered drinks. The 1st room given was leaking in the bathroom but we did get moved. The food was 3 meals a day even though the hotel boasted daily Turkish snack bar it was only 3 set meals which were majority salad with the same dishes every day, A main meal was provided in the form of chicken and fish alternately but these were recycled in salad dishes. There was no hot buffet breakfast and we opted a few days to eat out because breakfast was the same with eggs or hot dog sausages. The biggest compliment goes out to waiting staff who were very helpful and would always be there to clear up and get coffee and drinks. Especially Last rose who was quite apologetic about the state the hotel was in.

I beg anyone considering to go here, not to.
We arrived at 5am on the 14th June 2011 to find no one at reception, 20 mins later someone turned up not looking to pleased to see us might I add once we had checked in we had to wait another half hour till they checked our rooms which was worrying straight away. Once we got to our room we were confused to why there was only 2 single beds as I was there with my partner and my 6 year old son, they did move us straight away to the next door room.
The room was awful the floor was soacking wet and there was 1 sheet for the 3 beds we dtried to get some shut eye but couldnt stop itching, i couldnt help but cry. we woke about 8am and went round for breakfast all they had was bread and hard boiled eggs. NO JUICE. when we returned to our room we found the toilet was over flowing with sewage water, we complained straight away and were told it would be fixed. 30 mins later nothing. we complained a further 3 times and even went out for lunch and returnrd at 3:30pm to find still nothing had been done. i decided i would go get a glassof wine till it was fixed but would u believe? NO WINE. After another hour My Partner said were going. we Went out and found another hotel came back and got our cases and still wasnt fixed, I didnt care I was just glad to be out of there.
Thank god we left that day or our holiday would of been ruined, we went to the Petunya Beach Resort.........AMAZING what a place now that is what u call 4*.

we arrived at 2am tired and thirsty, had to wait to go to our rooms, no baby cot for my 16mth old grandson, was told it would arrive in 30 mins it took 2 days. rooms were dirty, food was awful!!!! the pool was the only saving grace but the day of our departure it turned green, most people we talked to were unhappy and had complained. so be warned i wouldnt take my worst enemy there!!!!!!

Arrived on Monday the 13th and you would have thought it was friday the 13th. The hotel is that remote the transfer driver couldn't find it. When we got there I wished he hadn't found it. To get to our room we had to walk past the pools whereupon we noticed all sorts of debris floating around in the main pool along with one of its lights, holes in the drainage area and the baby pool also had a hole in it. Later during the holiday a young boy got his foot stuck in the hole, in the baby pool, and badly cut his foot and a lady fell in one of the holes round the main pool and cut all her face open. The hotel staff didn't seem particularly bothered by this and medical attention was sorted out by other guests.

When we got in our room we noticed that there was no fridge although brouchere says each room comes with a fridge. The tv was broke. The air-con was broke. The toilet wouldn't flush and emitted a rather foul smell. The curtains were hanging off, there were no towels, bathmats or sheets. The shower curtain was mouldy and stunk and the bed and bedside unit were also mouldy and rotten.

We refused to stay in this room and were shown 4 others, all with no fridges and all in disrepair. The room we finally settled on still had its wardrobe door hanging off, the shower head hanging off, no soad dispenser, tempremental hot water and we couldn't open the balcony door because the key was snapped inside it . This is one of the better rooms. Spoke to other guests and they had endless lists of problems too.

The brouchere advertises this hotel as being all inclusive with free wi-fi, but there are no snacks served during the day, so if you miss your meal times your stuck. They close the bar earlier than advertised and there is no entertainment either. Food choice is very limited with a choice of hard boild eggs, bread or cornflakes for breakfast. Food is often cold and tasteless. Also you have to eat outside plagued by cats. The wi-fi is not free they charge 5 euros an hour.

The beach is advertised as being 50m away which is true, however unless you are prepared to pay to use the facilities of the restuarants or hire a sun lounger, you can't use it.

In the end we contacted our travel agents in England as the on site rep wasn't very helpful and moved hotels

We have just come back from the Club Aqua Hotel (former Magic route) and have had an 'interesting' experience. From day one we had problems getting basic reqirements such a towel each, it took two days and asking 4 different members of staff, room had no hot water, although it reached tepid for two out the seven days. No mini fridge as promised, when we asked we were told it wasnt working, we had to point out there wasnt one in the room !!! The air con needed a remote which took a few days to appear, some rooms it didnt work at all. The room was also not the cleanest, with limited furniture, the wardrobe didnt open properly as the wood had rotted at the bottom from water from the 'shower' leaking under the bathroom door and warping it. We also had only two hangers between two of us. The bathroom was not clean with a brown stained toilet bowl and a shower tray surrounded by curtians that leaked (COLD!!) water everywhere.

We struggled with bedding finding it difficult to get a sheet for each of the beds, when we finally got one the cleaners took it away the next day, though they never changed the bed ! They kept taking sheets and towel and bathmats, and not replacing though oddly enough we couldn't ever see any signs of actual cleaning!!
Adverised as having a gym, it didnt...

Food was basic, and repeatative with limited choice, though we were lucky as people there the week beforehand advised us there had been no hot food the previous week. We should have had afternoon snacks, these never materialised. The basic often ran out of wine, vodka, and certain soft drinks. No fruit juices at breakfast, though they did start to add a few extras towards the end of our stay (i've never been so excited to see cornflakes !!) but it was eratic and what was there on day was not often not the next.

There was limited entertainment at night, and a limited seating area..no seperate area for dining/drinks so it was difficult to get a seat.

The pool was over chlorined several times which lead to stinging eyes, though again we were advised that it had been browm the previous week. There was also not enough sunbeds, after getting up at 7,45 to get the last two beds we moved to the beach after that! Also the sides of the pool had gaps in the gratings which a few people had slipped in/on and was a bit of a death trap.

We ended up eating out 4/7 nights and spent two days at the beach also having our lunch out...which kind disputed the point of all inclusive.

The hotel bar/resturant staff were lovely and very keen to help and we couldnt fault them however we found the front desk staff useless, and unable to assist us at all and fed usexcuse after excuse. Our Rep (Hotels 4 you) were also useless.

If you have booked and are reading this, the service did seem to be slowly improving towards the end of our stay, however if you do need to eat out and get away from the hotel, take a walk up to Vira's fab service, lovely food and reasonable prices. You can also use there beach area and sunbeds during the day for free.

We did book this expecting a cheap and cheerful break, however they really really couldnt even get the basics right and was certianly not the 4* it was advertised as.....and I've come back with the flu from a week of cold showers!!

Also do not purchase any beverages from bodrum airport....£15 for two small bottles, a can of fanta and a tiny coffee...total rip off.
