Review of Hotel Zeytinada
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 22 Sept 2019
We have just spent 2 wks at this lovely hotel!! We are a well traveled couple and this has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in!! Cannot fault it! Food was great, good selection and the staff so friendly and very attentive at meal times! Plates cleared away within minutes of finishing!!inside the hotel, all rooms surrounding the lovely pool ! It’s just so lovely... highly recommended! There is a good supermarket opposite and buses to Bodrum every 10mins..4tl (60p).This is a quiet hotel, not for people looking for something lively!A lovely hotel to get away from everyday tresses!!

Beautiful hotel, staff were amazing and so helpful. We stayed there for a week an absolutely loved it, the food was locally sourced and every night was a different menu. Close to the airport, 5 minute walk to the beach, local shops around the corner along with restraunants, bars and cafes. Our room was stunning, everyday we had fresh towels and bed sheets, the cleaners would come round everyday without fail. Honnestly cannot fault this hotel.

Just returned from a very relaxing fortnight away at Hotel Zeytinada. The pool and gardens are beautiful. The staff professional and attentive. The buffet is good, especially the different lamb kebabs and desserts. The only slight niggle is that the walls in the standard rooms are paper-thin. You can hear talking, tv, flushing toilet etc. Also lots of flight crew stay at the hotel and often get up at 4am waking me up too. I suggest upgrading to a family room or asking to go on the top floor at the end of the block and where flight crew don’t stay to avoid this. Despite this, I would definitely return. Thank you Hotel Zeytinada!

A lovely hotel with stunning gardens being the star. The gardeners in this place really deserve a special mention. We wanted a laid back holiday and this fit the bill perfectly. The food was great and plentiful and the staff very attentive. The room we had was very nice and kept spotless by the staff. It was at the bottom end of the complex that backed onto the road but it was mostly hidden because of the lush trees and flowers and when sat on the balcony you have a great view of the hills which was very picturesque. I only used the pool as prefer to swim in the sea but it was lovely and clean and not overly busy. There is a roof terrace above reception that most other residents didn't seem to have discovered when we stayed and the view is brilliant.

We spent most of the holiday at the beach. Its shingle and very narrow. Much of it is taken up by platforms attached to restaurants where you can pay to use the loungers but we managed to find a nice little spot that offered sun and shade under a tree for the whole of the day which we often had to ourselves. The water was crystal clear, calm and not too shallow where you have to walk out too far to be able to swim.

Stayed for 3 nights in July 2019 as a couple. Very nice, clean and modern room with small separate sitting area and balcony. Mini bar which we kept our own drinks in. Pool is large (compared to other Turkish hotels on the penninsula), quite deep and never busy. There is a smaller kids pool and a tiny pool with a toddler slide. Plentiful large towels for pool useage. Modern gym, small but perfectly adequate. Air con throughout which worked well. The hotel is beautifully gardened with lots of plants and flowers everywhere, giving a very relaxing environment. No loud music. Hotel is all half board, with an emphasis on Turkish fresh food which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was vast array of Turkish fare, eggs cooked to order, plus various western pastries/cereals etc. Dinner - selection of meze (mostly vegetarian), huge salad bar, fresh breads, 3 or 4 mains (less good on veggie but loads of meze and cheeses to choose from), soup daily and loads of nice puddings. Would highyl recommended the Zeytinada for adults. They clearly attract some children, but as we have two young children (were on a short break without them) felt that they might be a bit bored after a couple of days. Bus into bodrum takes about 15mins and cost 4 lira each. Bus stop is ofpposite the hotel and very convinient.

Room tip: Suite worth the extra money as get a decent sized sitting room
