We are a family of four, we have been many all inclusives but this hotel was one of the best. This hotel is so clean you could eat your dinner from the floor, The pool, bars food hall, rooms, grounds sea front, beach, are well maintained, our room was really nice very clean tv fridge with water put in everyday, cleaned everyday always. The bar staff were so nice at the pool or the lovely cocktail bar, The entertainment staff were fantastic in the day bowl, darts, pool games, Zumba and at night bingo karaoke, shows, plus getting people up and involved, we loved Mehdi and all the entertainment staff they were great. There is also a night club in the hotel really smart inside.
Now the food omg it was lovely if you are a bit fussy don't worry there is something for everyone I really mean that the food was excellent. The water sports were fab we went on the jet ski , plus a bed that got pulled along with the speed boat it was fab you need to pay for this but the pedalos were free and also the canoes. The pool was cold but it's only April but what I loved about this hotel is the pool and sea front merged into each other with the pool bar right on hand with a seating area right at the sea fab, There is a doctors hairdressers and indoor pool spa facilities, and Turkish bath lovely. There is lots of trips to go on if you wish, you can also get the dolmus bus into bordrum 3tl takes about 15 mins to get there a lovely place and the clothes market is on a Tuesday fantastic. I've got to say if you want a really nice chilled holiday this hotel is where to book clean good food and drink fab pool beach and entertainment you will love it.

Room Tip: We were in 221 in the bungalow next to pool very quiet at night away from main area where disco.

The best all inclusive hotel we have been to in Turkey.
Hotel and surrounds are spotless , with staff working non stop to keep it that way. Food excellent - so much to choose from. We were in a hotel room , which was a good size, and had a lovely balcony.
The staff were all amazing, especially at the snack bar. Night time entertainment a little limited, but the summer programme doesn't start until May when the weather is warmer, looking forward to returning later in the year, so wil see what it's like then! The day time entertainment was good due to the fact the hotel has an excellent animation team who are always laughing and joking with all the guests.

Just back from a week over Easter and would thoroughly recommend this hotel as somewhere to fly and flop. Our second time doing the all inclusive thing and I am becoming a convert - very relaxing not to have to think at all about what and where to eat. Food here is very good indeed, surpassed expectations, lots of choice, well cooked and well presented. Sea bass and a huge joint of beef were particularly good, and the soups and assorted breads and flatbreads were also lovely. As it's a Muslim country you will not find bacon or sausages on the breakfast menu but plenty of other things to whet the appetite, especially the pancakes. No maple syrup but about 20 different types of jam/preserve plus honey, chocolate spread etc. Drinks also very good. The wines, both red and white were perfectly quaffable, and the cocktails equally addictive. The local brandy did give my husband a headache though! But that may have been more to do with quantity consumed rather than quality...

The rooms were spacious and well equipped, and ours (325) had a large terrace which got the sun late afternoon and evening, and was also nice and sheltered when it was breezy. Other rooms seemed to have much smaller balconies. Ours didn't have a view over the pool or sea but was at the side of the hotel and therefore extremely quiet and private. Only very slight problem was that the air conditioning, even at full blast, was virtually non-existent. We solved it by sleeping with the french doors to the terrace open all night, but that meant we got a few mosquito bites, and in the heat of the summer it would have been unbearable. To be fair we didn't raise it with the hotel and they may well have been able to adjust it had we done so. Or maybe they just don't set it to work at full strength at this time of the year.

The staff were all absolutely lovely - friendly, smiley, couldn't do enough for you and there was a veritable army of them beavering away. The whole place was gleaming - they cleaned everything to within an inch of its life. The loos right by the Beach Bar have to have been the cleanest beach toilets I have ever seen. Never so much as a speck of sand or drop of water on the floor. As mentioned by a previous reviewer the quality of the furniture, both indoors and out, was very high. The hotel was reasonably busy but we certainly never felt the need to reserve a sunbed and tended to head for the decked area to the left of the beach. Both the sea and the outdoor pool were pretty chilly but we expected that at this time of year and having grown up with summer holidays on the Northumberland coast it was still warmer than the North Sea! After a couple of minutes of vigorous swimming it was lovely (honest). We never used the indoor pool but the jacuzzi was tepid - not nice at all. The sauna was suitably hot though.

We were two families travelling together with teenage boys who were happy enough entertaining themselves with the pool tables, kayaks and jet skis. Being able to eat pizza at pretty much every meal was a bonus although they did avail themselves of plenty of other food as well.

Not many Brits here (which is always a plus) but mainly French, Dutch or Belgians. We never experienced the evening entertainment, preferring to settle in the Panorama Bar each evening and play cards. We also arrived at 9:30pm when ordinarily the restaurant would be closing but we were sent straight down to eat and then checked in afterwards. The whole thing was excellent value for money, presumably helped by the exchange rate for the Turkish lira at the moment, but we asked ourselves continually throughout the week how on earth they were making any money at all given the high ratio of staff to guests and the overall quality of the food and standard of the hotel. You would have paid at least twice the amount we paid for a week over Easter in a similar hotel in the Canaries or Egypt - although the sea might have been warmer!

Room Tip: If you want a view over the pool or sea you might be disturbed by noise from the restaurant. Rooms...

If you want to know where Robin Van Persie has been hiding look no further than the dining hall at Hotel Samara. Thank you Abdullah for being a sport and a fantastic host during our visit. Your hospitality and Turkish humour were a great source of entertainment!! A big thank you to Yunas, aka David Beckham (and no I did not get it either!!!!). Next time I will take you up on your offer of a ride 'on' your Lamborghini (or Lamborgeeeenie!!).
Thank you Dougkan for exceptional service at the pool bar. Still think that you are a formula one driver in disguise!!!

A wonderful trip at an amazing hotel with people who are intent in ensuring that your stay meets, and exceeds, your expectations.

I will return if only too catch up with how RVP is acclimatising to the new career opportunity!!!

Visited the Hotel Samara in early April and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is very well maintained and finished throughout to a very high standard. Our room was excellently appointed and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the Children's Play Area (fortunately not used by loud children our stay). It was always cleaned to very high standard. We did not see any mosquitos in our room, but had taken precautions with plug-in repellents.

The facilities were also very good. When we arrived the hotel was only about 25% full, but by the end of our week is was almost full so the following comments are based on the busier times.
The bars were well staffed, even if they were not busy. The outdoor pool had plenty of sun loungers surrounding it and the beach was adequately full of sunbeds and shades. However, a caveat would be they may be far busier in the warmer summer months. The indoor pool was also cold on a couple of days so they may not heat this all the time. There is also free wifi throughout the hotel, which is very useful but it was not always reliable and unfortunately did not extend to our room.

The food was excellent and probably the best I have experienced in any all inclusive hotel. For lunch and dinner the restaurant served a wide variety of food, which was tasty, hot and fresh. If you think the food may be not to your liking as the hotel is in Turkey do not worry. While there are traditional Turkish dishes the remaining 90% could be served in hotels anywhere in Europe. The breakfast is a slight exception with a lack of the ingredients of a typical English breakfast, but there is plenty of alternatives!!

As others have stated the all inclusive is excellent value for money, and as everyone is all inclusive there is no need to wear a wristband. The beer (Efes) is very good and there is a large selection of cocktails, with different bars offering different choices.

The entertainment in the evening was limited, but provided much amusement. When we were there it was indoors, but there is an outdoor amphitheatre for the warmer summer evenings. It consisted of the usual comedy show, bingo, karaoke, Turkish/belly dancing etc. The staff were very enthusiastic and did a good job at getting people involved. This was also the case with daytime activities - boules, water zumba, darts, disco, etc.

All of the staff in the hotel were also excellent. They were very highly efficient and extremely friendly.

We also went on a few trips from the hotel. We caught the Dolmus bus from right by the hotel to Bodrum (3TL each) to visit the market on Tuesday. We also went on arranged day trips to Kos (by Catamaran) and Dalyan (to see the rock tombs, mud baths and turtles), which were very good. The trip to Dalyan was particularly enjoyable and given the time of year a perfect time to visit as it was a lot quieter than in the busy Summer months.

Overall a very enjoyable stay at a highly recommended hotel!!

Just returned from a week at the beautiful Hotel Samara and i can honestly say i have never felt so relaxed and impressed with a hotel anywhere in the world as i have with this one.
We arrived at 9.30 pm and were immediately relieved of our cases and ushered down to dinner.....lovely!
The check in after was quick and painless and we were shown to our room overlooking the gardens.
The room was stunning....we had booked a standard room....our room was fully carpeted, a huge bed adorned with quilts, throws, cushions and very comfortable pillows. The furniture was beautiful and a gorgeous chaise with scatter cushions was a lovely extra. Dressing table, chair, large mirror. Sitting chair and table and french windows opening out to our balcony with a lovely glass table and wrought iron chairs.....Not a plastic chair in sight!! The bathroom was fully equipped with two showers over a full size bath, wc and bidet. There were complimentary toiletries, hairdryer and plenty of towels. We Never saw any mosquitos, perhaps the time of year? Infact we commented on the lack of them!
We never had to get up early to reserve sunbeds there were loads and they were all immaculate in fact overall i never saw a tattered/broken piece of furniture throughout the whole hotel. They have certainly not scrimped on furnishings, from leather sofas in the reception area to beautifull wicker three piece suites on the outside terraces to the hardwood tables and chairs down by the sea, this hotel certainly has the wow factor!
The restaurant served an excellent variety of food, tasty hot and freshly cooked. If you are the type that goes on holiday and wants to eat pizza n chips or english food go to spain! This hotel serves traditional local fare with a couple of western dishes thrown in but ultimately you're in Turkey so expect to try different food!
No English breakfast either....no pork or bacon for those who want a fry up ! The only critisism i would make is that i would have liked more fresh fruit. There were fresh juices contrary to another review as well as machine juices.
The all inclusive is superb value for money. The local wines are good and the cocktails were ok but they are all gin/vodka based so if thats not your thing it might be worth picking up a bottle duty free on the way to mix urself.
Entertainment wise was quiet but again it was early season and cool in the evenings so the outside entertainment venue wasnt in use. We werent really aware ofchildren during the day so i think the animation team did a great job for the kids!
The disco was quiet and it didnt necessarily play my choice of music but the staff will bend over backwards to please so any requests were met.
The animation team organised a night iut to Gumbet for the guests and three mini busses of us went out for a drink/dance.
We got the bus from the hotel into Bodrum it cost 3TL (less than a pound) was easy to access and only about 15 mins away. We discovered that you can get a hoverfoil from Bodrum over to Kos and Rhodes so next time we will deff do this.
Got to mention the spa at the hotel and our turkush bath experience. I've always wanted a massage but been too shy but i thought i'd give it a go. Two hours spent in the spa being scrubbed, foamed, face masked and massaged all for 55€ has converted me! Best money ever spent AMAZING!!! Give it a go, well worth it :)
All in all a fantastic week and i have fallen in love with the people and the country...the Spanish could learn a thing or two......wish i'd gone years ago. Will deffinitely return this hotel gets 10/10 from us.

We are currently staying at this hotel, and so I thought I'd review before we leave tonight. I must admit to being a little nervous coming here as its been twenty years since coming to Turkey and having sifted through numerous hotels on trip advisor this seemed the best bet, and I wasn't that wrong.
I have to say that the hotel is kept spotless, there are cleaners everywhere! The food is excellent although don't be expecting your 'full English'. It's eggs fried, scrambled, eggy bread, omelet, toast, and continental stuff, but all very nice.
The snack bar is great, kids love the burgers and chicken nuggets.
We've come right at the beginning of the season so when we arrived there were only about 100 guests. Dining was easy, as we are leaving, there are now about 500 guests and the que to get into the dining room in the evening is getting longer! TIP; get to dinner by 7pm!
The room is small, and you have to be quite short to get under our shower! We are in one of the outer flats not the main building, but it suffices.
The animation team are extremely hard working, providing all the entertainment including evening stuff, so be warned, don't expect the Chinese state circus turning up or anything!
If we had one complaint, it would be that they need to invest in some solar panels to heat the pool. Me? I'm not bothered, but when you've got small kids in and out of water all day, my 8yr old was shaking with the cold and blue lips!!! But that's kids for you and it's very early in the season. When it's red hot here I bet it feels great!
You can use spa facilities for free it's just treatments that cost.
Anyway, hope you find this helpful, just remember this is Turkish 5 stars NOT European standards and you'll be happy.
