We stayed at the Voyage Torba with our 4 year old daughter and family. All in all, it was a lovely holiday. After reading the reviews before we arrived, I expected the hotel to be complete and utter luxury, so I felt a little disappointed when we were allocated our room. It was very small, without a balcony, and there wasn't enough space to unpack all of our belongings. It felt like we were literally living out of our suitcases the entire time that we were there. However, having said that, the hotel is amazing. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is beautiful and very clean. The staff are amazing, all of them (and there are many!!!!). Yes, there was sometimes a bit of a language barrier, but it's to be expected. The waiters, the cleaners, the bar staff, reception staff, and spa staff were friendly and helpful. The aim at this hotel is to provide you with an unforgettable experience, and I think that they succeed brilliantly.
The spa and wellness centre is fantastic, well worth a visit and definitely worth the money. You can haggle with them and grab yourself a good bargain, we certainly did. Heavenly!!!
The food is amazing, there is so much choice and availability. It really is fabulous. It's true that the breakfasts tend to cater for the european guests, so I stuck to fruit and toast, but that wasn't really a problem. The all inclusive package at this hotel is really first class, it's the best we've ever experienced. Brilliant.
The grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the pools were great. We used the hawaii pool as it was a bit quieter than the main pool and had more shade. Plenty of sunbeds, and fresh beach towels every day. The Europeans like to reserve their beds nice and early which is a bit annoying, but you get used to their way of life.
A lot of Europeans stay at the Voyage Torba, and whilst they don't seem to understand that it's sometimes polite and necessary to queue for something, it is nice to be in and amongst a variety of nationalities. We enjoyed getting away from an all British resort.
A lovely and relaxing holiday, would definitely recommend Voyage Torba if you are thinking of going to Turkey.

What can I say...an amazing place to go on holiday. Clean, friendly, beautiful beaches, cocktails, magnums, wonderful food all day long!
Turkish bath at the spa is well worth a treat at the start of your holiday. I also had 4 massages as I had a fall and Croma was amazing. They looked after me very well. This is the place where people go back every year as its such good value for money.
Wifi was disappointing but certainly not the end of the world! The staff work so hard and you cannot fault them. The rooms were modern and clean. No tea/coffee making facilities so I took my own travel kettle and you can help yourself to milk, sugar etc to take back to your room. This is especially nice in the afternoon if you just want a cuppa whilst you are getting ready for the evening.

I would so recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Book as early as possible

This is the second time that I have stayed here. I'm glad to say that they are still making improvements, and as last time, everything is constantly being cleaned. If you try to speak Turkish a little, you get such a great response from the staff. The food is great, the drinks are high quality and plentiful. This is a place I would stongily recommend.

I just don’t know where to start! This Holiday was booked for a recovery holiday after having some major surgery,

This was our 2nd visit with friends and it was so nice to see that the hotel has been making improvements in the past year! It was a well-deserved break not just for me but also for my wife, who had been helping me with my recovery,

The Staff were very helpful and a credit to the hotel always making the guests feel relaxed, in fact many of them remembered us from last year, which was nice.

Our room was always clean with plenty of fresh towels the hotel grounds were always maintained with staff cleaning constantly.

We did struggle with the WIFI on our i phone which was a disappointment.

The food was amazing we went to most of a la carte restaurants and they seamed to have improved on last year as well !

I would like to think that next time I need a relaxing break we would be fortunate to be able to stay here again,

Thanks again to all at the Club Voyage Torbar .

Upon arriving in the early hours of the morning, We had a very easy, helpful check in, When we got to the room we were given a twin room with 2 single beds, i went to reception and advised i requested a double room, they advised me they would swap me 1st thing in the morning, so we dumped our cases and headed to the 24hr panamor bar, and Ali the barman was amazing as was Sinan the night chef, who got moved to a day chef for being to friendly with customers!!! (back to the rooms) true to their word reception moved us further into the comples near the hawian and aqua pools room 4274, the rooms are contemporary modern, spacious and airy, with a super modern air con system, all baclonies have a mesh door so evan when you open the door for air in the mozzies cant get in flat screen on wall( not that we watched it much just MTV when getting ready), the fridged was stocked daily with coke, sprite, fanta, beers, water and sometimes salted nuts. The bathroom was nice with dresser and big shower, shampoo, cond ect in bathroom.
The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and clean towels daily.
COMPLEX: The complex is big but easy to get around, the whole decore of the grounds, is immacualte, ppl constantle cleaning and the gardiners must work aroun the clock we saw 1 around 12 at night watering the lawns, they dont get appriciated enough and as for the cats,i am not a lover, i hardly noticed any and when i did see them they didnt bother us, their are signs stating not to feed the cats but as always some ppl choose to ignore the signs, the waiters did chase them away if they were near bars or resturants.
POOLS: There was never a time when i couldnt get a lounger there was ample situated all over the complex, we spent most of our holiday around the main pool situated by the buffet resturants as this was where the pools games happened , they were great fun!!!, as well as the main pool they had the hawian pool which has its own bar, and close by the aqua pool, the slides were amazing, i think i actually saw more adults having fun than the kids on the slides!!! all pools are very clean and well maintained around all the pool aread its a sort of decking which is excellent for kids, as its not slippery.
BEACH: the beach is rather pebbaly so would recommed some beach shoes, the water howere is beautiful, nice and clear, you can see the little fishes swimming, again plenty of loungers on the beach and jetty, but was quite hard getting a spot on the jetty, but didnt bother us at all, their is also an adults only part of the beach, but we didnt go to this part.
ANIMATION TEAM: Amazing, we had such a laugh, through the day aroung 12;30, they have the pool games which usually results in some game on a surf board, skipping, jumpin, over ropes, team games, they were great,I like the animation team although we joind in most of the games they dont pester you, i have to say that yldirim, dogcan and idle were the best especially yldirim the darts on an afternoon in the sky was a great laugh.
ENTERTAINMENT: the entertainment was pretty samey, they have a mini disco for the kids followed by, the evening show in the ampetheatre either by the animation team, who done games like miss or mr voyage, good laugh and they do comedy sketches which the kids thought were funny, after that the entertainment carried on up the sky bar either a singer, (i seen 3 different singers, they all sang the same songs!!) or a disco, i wouldnt say it was geared out for kids the music was loud, thats our sort of thing, there are 2 other bars 1 at reception and one by the beach open untill 12 which you can chill out at if you dont enjoy the loud music. When we arrived we encountered the elegance party it was a really good evening, plenty entertainment good food and drinks too.
FOOD AND DRINKS: The food and drink is plentyful and very very tasty, To start the main buffet areas has plenty of choice on the buffet and around this area they have chefs making wraps, kebabs, stirfrys the list is endless, evan when the buffet was busy we never had a problem getting a table, we did on some occasions have to wait for a drink but we just went to the bar our selfs the waiters work very hard and very long hours, the buffet is open for breakfast lunch and dinner, other places to eat through the day was the aqua pool resturant that served, burgers, pizzas and pasta dishes, the tea hut that served sandwiches and tosties the beach bar that serves roast chicken, kebabs, grilled fish ect the pasta house that serves pasta and noodle dishes well worth a visit, all ice creams are branded, magnum ,twisters, cornettos!! on an evening other than the buffet you can book the al a carte, these have to be booked from your room from 10 am we had no difficulty booking however some ppl did experiance problems the resturants are, chinese, italian, mexican, greek, turkish, fish you can eat at there once per stay free They are all amazing and the food just keeps coming and coming, they have a tepenyaki resturant its 25lira per person but well worth it and the waiter Erdal ( Orlando as he likes to be called ) is so lovley and funny,
There are plenty of bars situated all over the complex, the standard of the drinks are amazing all international brands every flavour of absolute vokdka, jack daniels, martini, malibu, barcardi, you name it they have it, the cocktail list is endless and if they dont have what you want they will do their best to make it for you, Akin the bar manager was great as were all the staff they are run off their feet but always smiling, we never had to wait for a drink but the end of our 1st week they knew our drinks and they just kept coming or they would bring us special cocktails, it pays to be nice and patient with them to start off with and they will respect you , they are young guys who like a laugh too,if you click your fingers and demand drinks you probably will wait longer, i have to say, Pussat,Kadir,Samet, were a few of the many waiters who were absolutly amazing, samet was great when bathing on the beach they often came around with water, beers and slushes the service was outstanding..THE BEST!!!
FACILITIES: I treat myself to a turkish bath, the spa is beautiful but quite pricey, If you barter with them they wont reduce the price but they may offer you a longer massage , they will try to get you to book a package deal a massage every day of your hol just say NO tell them what you want ans thats it!!,
The on sight Hairdressers is well worth a visit and very reasonably priced, my husband got a turkish shave and said it was lovely and relaxing and only 5 euro, the onsight shop is a little pricey but just outside the gates theirs a few shops and half the price, also a bus stop right outside gates that takes you into bodrum toen centre.
ALL IN ALL THIS PLACE CANNOT BE FAULTED, THE COMMENTS MADE ABOUT THEM NOT SPEAKING GOOD ENGLISH ARE RUBBISH, THERE TURKISH, AND THEY UNDERSTAND AND TALK ENOUGH TO GET BY, AND THEY HAVE DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES AT THIS HOTEL SO YOU WONT GET A FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST!! IF THATS WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR ON A HOLIDAY I WOULD RECCOMMEND BENIDORM!! IF YOU BOOK THIS YOU WONT REGRET IT AGAIN ITS AMAZING!!!XX
