We stayed in this hotel first 2 weeks of July lasy year and again forst 2 weeks in September this year. The hotel is clean and a great selection for breakfast -- fabulous location right on the beach. I noticed last years reviews of this property talked of overbooking. Sadly no lessons have been learnt. This year every day people were sent to a pension hotel which was of poor quality and located some way from the beach. Families were split up and some being sent to the other side of the resort. This happened to at least 20 people we talked with. Some were told lies and told there were problems with the rooms and they were fixing this. All lies the only problem was there were no rooms avalable. I do not like dishonesty and although I love this hotel I am reluctant to book again. We were booked in for 15 days. On the last night we were asked to check out at 8pm that night and she even sent guests to our room. We declined to check out It was an unpleasant end to our holiday. It is a shame she is giving this hotel a bad name by treating guests in this way. She knows how many rooms are available yet continues to take bookings for rooms she does not have and then sends them to bottom end accommodation. The bar was quiet maybe because the barman played rave music and most of the guests were over 40 !!!

Room Tip: rooms overlooking the pool are best

For a 2* hotel, this is brilliant!

You don't get any luxuries, or "frills", but wouldn't expect to for the price!

To be honest, the first room we were given wasn't great, ground floor, no privacy as over-looked pool area, tiny shower and very little storage space for clothes. However, the receptionist was very helpful and moved us to one of the best rooms in the hotel after 2 nights, so very happy! There was slightly more storage space here, 5 clothes hangers, and I used the bottom of the wardrobe for most of my clothes - but not a major problem to be honest!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had plenty of options. Pool area nice and quite a pleasant beach - the jetty is pretty good fun!

Lovely stroll into Turgutreis, but there are a few restaurants/food options more locally if you didn't want to make the walk - or the hotel will drive you into the centre for 12 lira.

All in all really happy with our stay here.

Myself, my boyfriend, brother and parents stayed at the Aydem between July 24th and August 3rd. I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of the rooms. They are basic but comfortable and are perfect for a short stay. The breakfasts are varied and there is usually something for everyone, and some things that I just couldn't figure out what they were!
The staff seemed OK at the start of the holiday but they could be quite rude when serving you drinks and wouldn't take criticism very well i.e. some of our chicken was undercooked and we mentioned it to the waiter, but he seemed annoyed that we had complained, and threw the chicken to the dog, so there was no evidence to be shown to the chef. This being said, most of the food we ate here was OK, average, but OK.

The hotel is in a lovely location, with its own stretch of beach and a pontoon which is great fun to play on! The sunsets were beautiful and I couldn't have wished for a nicer spot. The pool is a good size, with a baby pool at one end and plenty of sunbeds. Only issue- no shallow end, but this doesn't bother me.

It takes around 15mins to walk into the centre of Turgutreis from the hotel. If you are not up for walking however, the owners are happy to call a taxi for you. It can get very hot!

Overall, this was a lovely hotel, with perfect views and a pleasant atmosphere, just a shame about some of the members of staff.

This hotel is in a beautiful location right on the shore of the Aegean Sea and is one of the nicest locations I have ever stayed in. The rooms are a reasonable size and are kept very clean, with fresh towels every day. The pool is a good size, with plenty of sunbeds around it, just make sure you get down early for the best ones!

Some of the staff at the hotel are fine - the owners are really friendly and polite and they make a real effort. However we found that some of the bar staff could be very sullen and were never willing to offer an apology for a mistake. The breakfasts are very good, loads of choice and getting to sit in the sun for breakfast is a real treat.

Be prepared for a long walk into town - it takes between 15 - 20 minutes to get to the centre of Turgutreis from the hotel, and the walk doesn't have a lot of shade, so going into town isn't a quick and easy job. However, the walk has some really nice views and so it is definitely worth doing.

The beachfront section that is owned by the hotel is a really nice place to sunbathe and mess around - there is a floating pontoon that is great fun to try and balance on. The sea is very shallow around the hotel, so good for people who would rather paddle than swim.

In general, this is a great hotel - plenty of freedom for doing pretty much whatever you want whenever you want. Some of the staff seemed rude and sometimes just mean (ie. pushing people into the pool without warning - fine for some but not everybody's cup of tea), but hopefully you will have better luck than us!

My and my blue eyed friend stayed here for the first time, last year being at La Blanche down the street. Yes the rooms are very basic, and the bathroom could have done with a regrout, but for the time you spend in there who cares! The location is fantastic as its got amazing sea views and a great little beach which you can still get on at a reasonable time!
We stayed B&B and it was fine for our needs - basic but tasty, served in a buffet style with an abundance of fresh bread, cold meats, cheeses and plenty of eggs! The staff there are great and so friendly - bar food is great, can recommend the shish - but make sure you are hungry!
Our room was cleaned daily and had a great view of the pool and the sea. Would definitely come again!
