We were staying at this Hotel for one week from August 2nd. Despite its seemingly new brand, there were shortcomings causing me and my friends to not think of coming back there again. The more important ones:

- At our check-in, the room was not really ready to be checked-in! There were no soap, shampoo, slippers, etc. available. The safe box was locked. After 2 calls in one hour, they brought some items.

- Air condition only switched on for a limited hours - in the midnight the room was like a sauna!! We complained several times to the reception and the guest relations but in vain!!

- Air condition in other areas such as restaurant, lobby, bar, etc. was too awfully hot. We were all times sweating.

- The beds and pillows were not comfortable. I was also bitten badly by mosquitoes or other insects in the room and the lobby.

- The fee of spa treatments were more than what you pay in other hotels.

- Customer service was poor. The staff seemed to be not interested in their jobs.

- The animation team was not amusing and did not consider the culture of all guests. They only focused on guests from Turkey and Poland, while there were other guests from other countries.

- Food was boring and always the same. Even the "a la carte" restaurant which the lady in dark hair at the Guests Relations booked us with anger and unfriendly tone of speech, was not to our expectation and comparable to other hotels we had met.

- We were around 7 people and we could never find table easily. The food was also limited in quantity and seemingly left over from the last meals. Sometimes plates were empty for long time.

- The waiters just were moving around, and when we asked them to bring glass or service or clean the table, either they disappeared or came back after a long time.

- In the reception and transfer desk, it was hard to find person that could speak English language.

- The lady in dark hair at Guest Relation could not support guests well and friendly with booking the a la carte restaurant, air condition repair,
I have arranged 3 times a visit with AC support team but without any results. In the end my problem was not solved.

- The location of the hotel was in the middle of nowhere; you couldn't go anywhere not even for walks or shopping - approx 30 minutes drive from Bodrum...

My only good experience from this hotel was the lady in light color hair, from the Netherlands, who spoke English fluently and was very nice and supportive to all guests. It's a shame I have forgotten her name, but seemingly starting with an 'M'. Though she couldn't help to remove the problem of air conditioning of the room, possibly because out of her power!
She looked very interested in her job and having very friendly attitude towards everyone. She even helped us with the shuttle once it had become a total failure to communicate with the young guy who spoke or understood not even a word in English.

I hope that the management will reconsider my review and comments which, as I learnt after I returned home from the 'tripadvisor', were the same of many other visitors and tourists.

Thank you.

Dear Guest,

We would like to inform you with proud that the hotel has been taken over by the Grand Park Hotels which are part of the Corendon Hotels & Resorts Group.

Meanwhile, we are working hard to restore and renew the accommodation. In addition, the staff is prepped with customer care and service trainings which will be proceeded throughout the whole winter so we can start the season with a complete different Grand Park- approach.

Our aim is to be the place where everyone feels at home and therefore we are highly appreciating that you shared your experiences. This ensures that we can optimize our product and service quality.

Our doors will be opened in the summer season of 2017 and perhaps we can convince you to welcome you in our new hotel.

Sincerely,

Grand Park Bodrum

This was a good family summer holiday in a 5 star all inclusive hotel. It is always annoying to have to find cash for towels above and beyond the all inclusive package, but it was a bright new hotel on the beach and as such made for a lovely holiday. The staff were unfaillingly polite and friendly and made the holiday the best it could be. The waiters and the guest relations lady were outstanding in their level of service. The massage in the spa was a bit disappointing and it is definitely a very big downer when there is no room to shower and change before leaving for the airport after checking out - using the spa does not work!

Room Tip: Beach side rooms are the best - steer clear of the spa.

We arrived at Hotel at mid night and were met by Donny one of the the animation team, he organised our bands whist guy on reception booked us in, by far the easiest check in I have experianced, We were taken to our room and told that soup and cheese was still available at the restaurant if we wanted it,
We had a Junior Suite Room which was easily large enough for us, (2 adults, 2 girls aged 16 & 12), there is a soft drinks mini bar which is filled daily, an eloctronic FREE safe and shower gel for the shower and soap for the sink.
Food was plentiful and varied so even our picky daughter always had something to choose from, the Restaurant was spotless, special mention to Suayip, Deniz and Murat but all the staff were very pleasant and friendly.
There are 3 outdoor pools all with sunbeds, a narrow beach and a jetty again with sunbeds.
There are numerous bars but we used the snack bar where the staff were very friendly and always helpful even after working 13 hour shifts, special mentions to Daniel and Ismial.
In the lobby you will find Guest Relations (Morgana a lovely Dutch girl), she speaks fantastic English and will help you with anything from booking A-la Carte Restaurants to phoning Thomas Cook to see where our airport transfer was, you will also find Foruk in the lobby who will book you shuttle buses to Turgutries and Bodrum.
The Entertainment was day and night and was family based, during the day there was darts, volleyball and pool games and on a night there was a show either put on by Animation Team or outsiders, special mentions go to Tolga, Bora and Donny but all of them were great.
One thing to say is that all shops and bars will gladly take Euro and Srirling so you do not need to take loads of Lira with you.
Overall this has been one our best holidays and we will happily go back.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago and have to say what a lovely time we had. Very clean room food is good, but a bit much of the same old same. A little out of town-but the friendly and helpful staff are always around to make sure you enjoy you`re hoilday. There are 3 pools as well as the sea so plenty of room if you want a swim. The waiters, cleaning staff are very good and the front desk staff are excellent. Pity it doesnt have indoors pools as i would love to come for a break in the winter months.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous location. Cleanliness was spot on, towels changed every day and beds made. There was a slight mix up with our room, in that there were 3 single adults and one child, we originally had 2 double beds. This was recitified but only after the 3rd time asking, luckily we were persistant so they changed it.
The location is slightly isolated but you are only 10mins away from turgetreis town, which is pleasant and bustling. The resteraunts there are beautiful, especially in the harbour. A taxi in will cost 20 lira each way which isnt bad and there are lots of taxi ranks around. Quite a safe feeling in the town, friendly. Important for three girls and a child on our own.
The hotel was lovely, the only thing is that it caters to polish, russians and other turks. Staff favour them a lot more and its very noticable. In the end we treat them with the same contempt they treat us. Food is...strange. Totally geared towards their preferred clients again. Not great for kids or veggies. My advice would be to eat out on a night time, as food during the day is bareable. Dont bother with the 'a la carte' resteraunt, its a waste of a night and serves a set menu of a very low standard.
If u get a good deal to stay here id say its worth it, as the hotel is beautiful, so long as you arent bothered by the favouritism towards other nationalities. But definetly eat out on a night if u can. Meals cost around the same as they do over here, maybe 30-40 lira each depending on what u get. Oh and the air con does work through the night but its one of those card jobs where ur room key has to be in a slot for it to activate.
We had a fab time but purely because we had read reviews on here and decided that we could deal with the few negatives and were very relaxed about it.

We had a great time at yelken. Very nice room with seaview. Friendly staff everywhere, special thanks to Faruk for taking care of all transfers to everywhere and the cute, profesional dutch girl at PR desk. Food & drinks all day in every corner. And I have to mention the 3 pools, space for every one. Go and see for yourself how great this hotel is.
