We stayed there 4 days and definitely it was not enough. Have not had the chance to try out everything. It has a vas amount of space you can walk and walk, if yiu get bored of the sea and swimming pools on the hotel side you can always go to the village side. Sea was precious, i recommend to get some swim glasses and watch the fish in the sea, swimming with them.
The location was beautiful, food quality pretty good, staff helpful, shuttle buses to the city every half an hour, turkish coffee for free (!!!), huge rooms, huge beds, huge space, hiking trails, well looked after gardens.
Negative points is that wifi is almost inexistent and foods can get a bit boring after a while. Dinner restaurant is not pretty and hav to wait long to get a pretty bad wine.
Overall would definitely go back for the location.

The hotel is 5 stars but quality is less than one star. Wifi is very poor everywhere and not reachable in the room. Electricity regularly cut off !!! Food is very very bad quality. Very far from Bodrium town, and no shuttle buses provided. Facilities is very limited in the room as 5 stars hotel, no slippers, no bath rube. Bed is not comfortable. The hotel is time share resort based and maybe that's why the bad quality in everything, this is my experience with most of time share resorts. Not recommended at all.

We spent our honeymoon in Sep. 2013, in the hotel section of the facility. We chose this hotel upon recommendation. The scenery of the room was perfect, the quality of the customers was high, the hotel was very quiet - which was what we were looking for after a very tiring wedding ceremony, the staff was very friendly. We strongly recommend the hotel to everyone looking for a relaxing hotel.

Room Tip: Block 2 no 2101 has a very good view.

we booked this holiday for the activities and water sports and were quite nervous that the hotel itself wouldnt be that great especially after reading some of the reviews.
We needn't have worried, our room was spacious and clean and had a lovely view, the breakfast and lunch are in a buffet restaurant which is by the sea and has beautiful views. the main dinner buffet - Amphora was a little dissapointing, but after using both of our dinner vouchers and dining in the fish buffet twice we managed to avoid eating in there too much.
The evening entertainment took place in one of the all inclusive bars - the quality of the entertainment was very varied but was always entertaining.
We both had spa treatments which were very good and also very reasonable. even if you don't want treatments i would recommend visiting the spa as the facilities can be used by all guests free of charge and are lovely
the hotel had daily activities including, table tennis, water polo and beach volley ball, these were organised by a turkish entertainment team who were fantastic in involving everyone.
The mark warner activities were fantastic, we joined in both the introduction to sailing and windsurfing and paid extra to have a private windsurfing lesson. the free introductions had a maximum of 6 to a group so each participent was given a lot of attention.
the resort is extremenly hilly, but there is a shuttle bus which can be used to get around
we were travelling as a young couple who don't have children, while it was clear the child care was fantastic we didn't feel out of place at all given that we weren't there with a young family.

Room Tip: block 1 is close to the pool and the beach as weel as the lunch and breakfast buffet, the resort is...

The hotel, though seemed excellent, but appered to be an average one in terms of value for money dimension. It needs renovation and a better maintainance. Public toilets are awful, the food is not good, there was no Turkish tea (!) and I do not mention coffee at all. The location in terms of nature is absolutely perfect but the place deserves a better hotel.

A lovely hotel with food very good for all inclusive. Agree with most of the positive comments below re cleanliness etc. Unlike cruises etc the complimentary beer and coffee are perfectly adequate - I drink Efes in my local pub sometimes. Mark Warner staff all bright and bubbly and kids loved the kids club. Well worth walking over the top to the self catering side as the pool there is wonderful (at the hotel it's just perfectly adequate). We'll be back - my children pleaded for it.

Just one gripe. After the bedlam of the first night the 'all in' buffet was fine but booking one of the a la carte resteraunts for a change/ treat not always easy. (Needs to be done days in advance and it can be difficult to get a menu so it needs to be done blind too). Then when you walk past you'll see that they are half empty and when you eat there you'll see that some tables stay empty all night ... which is frustrating.

The local staff are friendly but are quite comfortable saying no (just 'because') and the whole service ethos is not 100% there yet. (Contrast with a cruise ship staff for example where it's almost impossible to come up with a request they wont happily indulge with an 'oh great a chance to impress!'). For example, a friend asked for a plate of simple food for her hungry 10 year old as they missed a bus back from the town and arrived on the cut-off stroke of 10 ... this wasn't a request to cook late simply a request 'before you take it all away and bin it... can I just grab a plate of that and a roll' (apparently not - until she got assertive! But that rather spoils the mood doesn't it?)

In short the customers were having a great time in this lovely hotel but weren't always right and were sometimes feeling that they were rather inconveniencing the staff and being tolerated.

Room Tip: Upper floors block 1 have the best views by far.

Not sure why this place has had a few negative reviews over the last few years, all in all I thought it was very good. Accomodation is relatively spacious, easily big enough to get a spare bed in, plus kept very clean etc. Food I thought was very good, loads of it and good quality and variety. Places like Mini Bodrum and the gym and spa are very good as well. The on resort team organised volleyball and water polo every day which worked well. The beach was a bit stony (I guess its actaully a pebble beach that they have dumped a few tons of sand on top of to please the tourists), but the water is very clear and clean. Best bit was the beach bar where its very easy tio sit and drink for hours. Mark Warner staff and service very good as always. As this is a mixed resort (ie not exclusive to Mark Warner), there are a good number of other nationalities there as well, mainly rich Turks from Istanbul but a good number of Italians and a few Germans. I thought this mix made the place more interesting that the normal MW Home Counties crowd. All in all great resort and great holiday.

Room Tip: Very hilly resort so pick one close to the beach if thats where yopu will be spending your time, go...
