This resort is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen in Turkey. Rooms are really comfortable. Staff is so helpful, everyone is smiling which is hard to see at Resorts. They have very professional water sports facility. It's all inclusive and all day you can eat something from the bar and water is free of charge, they even have an ice cream bar. Beach is so peaceful eventhough the place was fully booked I didn't have any problems about finding peace and quiet. I highly recommend this resort to everyone.

Room Tip: Kara manzaralı odalar gayet sessiz ve serin oluyor. Tavsiye ederim.

Out second time to the Sea Garden - overall it's an excellent place. Our last holiday there was 3 years ago and our teenager enjoyed himself so much we thought we'd go back again.

We flew from Manchester this time rather than traveling down to London - the Monarch flights, while perfectly OK, are a bit of a let-down after having got used to traveling BA from Heathrow. In particular, the flight back on what appeared to be a brand new Airbus was probably the most uncomfortable flight I've ever had - largely as the seats had no option to recline!

The relatively short transfer in a very nice bus was perfectly pleasant and Bodrum airport is pretty civilized.

We had request to be in Block 4 - furthest from the beach and closest to reception - not sure if this was a good idea. It was certainly good for going to dinner in the main restaurant or the Mexican and was VERY useful on the last day (see below). We had two rooms - one (4316) had excellent internet access - the other (4310) had none in the room so our teen had to go outside into the corridor to get vital internet access (from the number of people we saw standing about in corridors fiddling with mobile devices this seems to have been a common complaint).

Rooms are good - nothing fancy - great views.

Food varied from OK (main restaurant) to excellent - the Fish and Italian restaurants. Note that the Fish restaurant is really only worth visiting on "a la carte" nights when you need to book - otherwise it is just a buffet.

Overall - an excellent holiday with the Mark Warner staff in the clubs and on the beach working hard to make sure everyone had a good and safe time.

Now the MAJOR complaint. We had gone to Sea Garden with Mark Warner for one main reason - the Indy club for our teenage son. Imagine our disappointment to be told on the first morning that due to some ill defined problems they were only running some of the kids clubs for half the day! Our anger wasn't helped by being told "this is a good opportunity to spend more time with your child" and "they can make friends by themselves" (or words to that effect). This resulted in our teenager spending half the day in bed and two angry parents!

Note that they did manage to get their act together for the second week we were there and run the clubs for the whole day - but we didn't know this, which added to the stress. Our teen did attend the club for the whole day when it was available - so its not like he always stays in bed until lunchtime!

We've been on a lot of Mark Warner holidays (at least 12 - summer and skiing) and the only time we've been seriously disappointed. It appears that the problem was caused by staff not having the appropriate visas/permits - but this sounds like poor planning on the part of Mark Warner. We were also pretty surprised that there was no attempt to use other staff (e.g. the MW manager) to organize something.

We've contacted Mark Warner about this and hopefully will get some kind of compensation - certainly how they handle this matter will decide whether we go with MW again as it was a pretty serious dent to our confidence in the company.

Another great holiday with Mark Warner at this resort. As usual the hotel staff were attentive and helpful. The rooms were spotless and of a good size. We enjoyed the breakfasts and lunches (plenty of salads, meats and fish) rather than the evening meals as there was less choice than in previous years.
Unfortunately we had to visit both the nurse and the doctor on several occasions, both were brilliant and professional at all times.
Small points to mention; The communication from Mark Warner staff could have been more informative on departure and during the welcome meeting. For the hotel - Please bring back the volleyball on the hotel side, there were a number of us who missed it badly!
There are lots of wasps whilst eating but these can be dealt with easily by asking the staff for a coffee burner. Other than that we met some great people and had a fantastic time.

Without the seaside and sea itself, this hotel&village will be non-existent with its current food quality (and over priced) and service especially the hand-picked rude, uneducated and discourteous receptionists... Thanks to mother nature, this hotel is what it is...

I have rarely stayed at a hotel where the quality of the food was so poor. Each meal time became less appealing than the last. The rooms were a good size with reasonable beds and ok bathroom. Pointless balcony overlooking next block. Pools were clean and not crowded. Only one outside bar open for hotel. Kids enjoyed water sports but MW had staff shortage so clubs only available for 50% of time. We wont be going back.

This resort is built on a steep hillside , which is worth remembering if you have a problem with hills.
The resort was spotless, the food was adequate but a bit bland .
The accommodation was comfortable but with a small balcony.
Pool was simple square , with plenty of sun beds, a small beach with beds and some grassed areas complimented the sun scene.
The entertainment was good and well laid out in the open air.
If anything it was slightly sterile place.

Well having read the reviews below I quite frankly don't understand what people are wringing about. Emma the manager was fantastic from the start and kept us fully informed about the happenings around the resort.

We have a two year old and the childcare is just fantastic and totally made our holiday. Everyday he went and played in organised activities with one other child from boat watching, sandcastle building to swimming, he was exhausted at the end and loved every minute. The evening drop off for the under 5s was fab. Dropped our little one off in pjs at 730 where he had milk watched a film then fell to sleep in a camp bed where we collected him before 11. Wow 6 whole child free nights out, out of this world!

Hannah from the childcare staff was brilliant, loving and affectionate yet utterly professional from start to finish.

To summarise we have had a brilliant week, great food, beautiful surroundings, and MW contrary to lots of whining reviews seem to have a good bunch of energetic, polite, welcoming staff who add to the whole experience. As our first family MW holiday we are sitting here overlooking the sea looking at the website to rebook for next year. Thanks MW we've had a great time and made some forever memories. Till next year!

Tips; block 1 is so convenient for everything. Book your restaurants early!

Room Tip: Block 1 for kids!
