While I did not get to spend much time at the hotel, the experience that I did have was fantastic. I would certainly spend more time here on the next trip to the region. While some say that the hotel is spread out, I find that this is one of the beauties of the hotel. It offers all sorts of little nooks to discover that are all well thought out and provide quiet spaces. Also being spread out a bit there is a nice aspect of adventure on the property, finding all that it has to offer. The two level, boat dock bar was great and the beach was pleasant. It doesn't have a broad stretch of sand but provides quick and calm water access with plenty of room to swim. The beach and pool areas have plenty of lounges and umbrellas for your comfort as well as staff that are readily available. The restaurants were good and the Italian restaurant has a great open-aired area atop a cantilevered deck. Breakfast also has a broad offering of food choices! My room was spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony and a breathtaking view of the bay. The staff were friendly and accommodating and if you need/want to stay connected there is 5 bars of cell network virtually everywhere as well as hotel wifi throughout the resort. The city of Bodrum is about a 25 minute ride away and full of night life, bars and restaurants and the area has plenty to explore in terms of old historical sites.

Room Tip: It looks like all the 170+ rooms have an ocean view.

This hotel has one of the nicest beaches in Bodrum Turkey ,,,, thats it.
The rest was inconsistent , the service depended on the individuals serving you , no feel of hands on management , one or two stood out from the rest , like Masout from the blue lounge and the concierge and Anna a nice lady serving around the pool > The assistant gm was also helpful , but
the overall feeling was a roller coaster .

Room Tip: rooms facing the sea 8th floor

The hotel is nice but very disjointed. I have never seen more sets of stairs in my life. You almost need google maps to get to the beach. The rooms are nice and spacious. Our room had a nice big balcony and a beautiful view of the bay. The breakfasts are good. We ate one night in the Asian/ Japanese restaurant Saigon it was good but extremely expensive. The staff are helpful. I have stayed at nicer kempinski hotels. It is advisable to hire a car as the hotel is not near anything. I think the new mandarin oriental and the Grand? Savoy will give this hotel a run for their money. The spa is great

I visited Bodrum with my sister for the first time this June and the best thing we did is staying in Kempinski hotel barbaros bay. The secret of this hotel is the service. We stayed in this beautiful hotel for 8 nights we had every thing we asked for and it was done immediately with a smile . The hotel is located around 20 minutes from the center which is considered to be isolated from the other resorts but we found this an advantage for a beach vacation and with the professional service you feel pampered in your home. The beach was magnificent especially the silent beach which was for adults only. The concierge was very helpful and efficient particularly "samed" who was very nice and extremely helpful. We tried all the restaurants in the hotel and they were all fantastic especially the Italian one. The cost of the food in the hotel is like any other 5* hotels, I didn't find any of the meals we had overpriced. It's true that you have to pay for every thing even the water but we got two bottles of water every day in our room. The room (Deluxe) was very tidy and well arranged with beautiful sea view balcony. We had a vacation we will remember for ever.

‎The Kemp Bodrum is located in a nice quite bay (that is remote for most part). The hotel is spacious and airy; everything is spread out and it felt like space wasn't a restriction when hotel was being built. The hotels reception is on the 4th floor and rest of hotel is on floors below given we are on mountain.

Rooms were ok and have a nice balcony overlooking the sea. Balconies are not private.

Pool/s were big and nicely overlooking the sea (infinite pool concept).

Beach was peaceful. Hotel has access points to beach. I only went to the adult sundeck; nice chillax environment. The other beach was further to get to but seem nice from a distance.

Restaurants were nice; buffet (breakfast and dinner) was good. Asian fusion restaurant was nice and the had a special dish which was deep fried sushi. That said, the hotels service felt slow. It took time to serve us at meal times and at one point we had to ask for menus.

We stayed at Kempinski Barbaros Bay for 3 nigths and was AWESOME. The hotel is amazing. Breakfast is very good and they have five restaurants: Saigon (asian), Barbarossa (fish), La Luce (Italian), Olives (Buffet) and a Pool Bar. The Saigon, Barbarossa and the pool bar are really good.

It's a kid friendly hotel, but you probably won't even notice, since they have two areas on different beaches for adults only, so you can relax perfectly.

The Hotel is about 20 min (taxi) away from Bodrum and the piers, so if you want to visit the city or any island you will spend at least TL 70 (€ 25) one way. We arrived by the airport, and costed TL 125 (€45) until de hotel by regular cab, and took about 30/40mins.

They have lots (but pricy) water activities as wake boarding, Jet Ski, Stand Up Paddle and many others. Be prepared if you want to rent a boat at the hotel. They charge € 800 for 8 hours. If your party is big, ok, you can split, but if you are in a couple may be too expensive.

My only recommendation to the hotel and future guests is while doing check-in, the Hotel should explain a bit about the facilities (maybe a hotel map). We had to discover everything alone, and all restaurants need reservations, so we were caught off guard on the first day.

The pool and the two beaches have plenty of seats available, and the service is very good (they put towels on the beach chairs for you, give cold towels to refresh when its too hot, offer to clean your glasses and take you to the beach and pick you up by golf cars if you don't want to go by stairs).

All rooms have partial or front sea view, I stayed at the Standard room, and I thought it was really big. The only thing I'd change is the furniture, since it seems it needs renovation.

It was an excellent stay.
