I really didn't want to go here because the TA reviews were so bad, but someone else set it up so I went quietly. I was very pleasantly surprised to find almost magically competent service. How did one girl keep twenty people from ever running out of tea and water, clear dishes as soon as they were finished, make about a dozen separate checks, all accurate, and bring out food HOT? Everything was replenished when it ran low, not ran out. My generous serving of scallops was right out of the pan and very tender. The steak next to me I tasted was very good. The cheese burger was reported to be the best he had ever had. The blue cheese dressing was the vinegary kind, not the usual creamy item, and was equal to the best I have had; really great (but served on an average salad).
Mgt. had our table set up perfectly when we arrived, away from others so we could talk and hear. The restaurant is one giant room that is half bar, but it was not a rowdy place on our Saturday night. Prices: $10 cheese burger, $19 scallops (w/ a great roll, salad, baked potato and a cheesy appetizer for crackers and sesame sticks), $25 rib eye, and $40 surf and turf for two. It is not a swanky facility, but the food and service were very good and we saw nothing of the long waits for food mentioned in the lousy reviews. If the place looked more like a nice restaurant inside instead of a warehouse I would have given it 5 stars. I would go back.
