“Great Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 October 2012

We stayed here one night while attending a football game in Ada. It is conveniently located, clean, well decorated and the staff was very accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was very good! A lot of nice restaurants located close to the Holiday Inn. Would highly recommend staying here while in Ada.

we arrived in the afternoon and checked in and was greeted with a very nice greeting and the lady working told us everything we needed to know, once we went to our room it was nice, just not as big as the room the previous night in Chickasha, Ok. but all Holiday inn Express are different. Overall it was a great place to stay :)

This was just an above average Holiday Inn Express. They have the typical breakfast that you have many choices to pick. They had a paper ready at the doorstep when you walk out. The pool was nice. But it didn't feel new inside the hotel. The air conditioner was controlled by a thermostat on the wall so I liked that aspect but everything else just seemed average. Has a LCD TV in every room and a business computer. They seem to be the only hotel in town that has an elevator to the 2nd or third floor. All the other hotels beside the Ada La Quinta Inn make you walk upstairs with your luggage. However, their price of the room was almost double of every hotel in town. I can get a room at the Quality Inn, Microtel Inn, or Best Western and pay 1/2 as much as I paid for the Holiday Inn Express. I'll admit the stay was nicer at the Holiday Inn Express than those other three hotels but I can't justify $50 more than the competitors in town. It WASN'T THAT GREAT of a stay at this hotel. There are 4 restaurants within walking distance and there is a Walmart within 1/4 of a mile of this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms away from the highway before you start the check-in process.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 December 2010

My husband and I wanted to have an evening out by ourselves without the kids for our 16th anniversary, but wanted to stay close to home. We live 7 miles from Ada and didn't really know which of the local hotels would be the best. We are so glad we stayed here. Hopefully, we can make this an annual event (at least). We stayed in the King Suite. Very spacious, very clean, and an American run, English speaking staff. They were friendly, and super attentive. My husband enjoyed the full bath both when we arrived and again in the morning. The shower was hot and water was obviously "soft" since we are accustomed to the hard Ada water at our house without the luxury of a water softener. I forgot a razor and called the front desk, and they arrived in probably 2 minutes or less with not only a razor in hand, but shaving cream as well. Complementary breakfast was the best we've ever had--hot, crisp bacon, biscuits, sausage gravy, scrabbled eggs, boiled eggs, every kind of roll or bagel you could wish for, yogurts, fruit, coffees, all types of cream cheese, coffee creamers, etc. I was so impressed. I was fixing to book a room at Renaissance in OKC Bricktown for an upcoming trip, but I'll be looking for another Holiday Inn Express with hopefully, a comparable experience!

Staff were friendly and rooms well appointed, spacious and clean; no problems.
The hot breakfast bar was well stocked and the dining room was large.

There is nothing bad about this property but there is nothing remarkable either. It is not one of the old style Holiday Inn Expresses but there is definitely a dated bland feel to it.

The king rooms have a fridge, microwave and a chair and ottoman. The problem with the room set up is that the TV is mounted on the wall and it is hard to view it from the chair so you end up sitting in bed to watch TV- kinda defeats the purpose. Not really very comfortable.

This hotel appears to be one of the newest in Ada and I would be scared to stay in a lot of the other properties I drove by. Based on that fact, I would recommend it but if there was a Hampton nearby I wouldn't stay here.
