For meetings and conferences, the hotel also contains approximately 8,000 square feet of divisible meeting space and a separate board room.

While I agree that the Roadhouse Restaurant was great, unfortunately it closed again last season. These restaurants located on remote Monkey Island suffer from a very short season, basically from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The winters here are great, but no tourists come.

They have ruined what was once a classy place. The cheap construction is the first hint at what awaits you.. the food is awful and horribly overpriced. There are better restaurants all around the lake. The Road House is top notch!

This is NOT a resort. It is old, not updated in a VERY long time. You do have the water views but, the rest is much left to be desired. Even the restaurant is outdated, even the food. Yuk

If you're looking for great golf, fine dining, and beautiful scenery...this is the place for you. Everyone at Shangri la was professional, courteous, and helpful. The staff was pleasant, the food was excellent, and the golf course was beautifully redone. I highly recommend a visit.
