Oregon Shakespeare Festival

Attraction details
Owner description: You don't need to head to England to experience the genius of a Shakespearean play. Much closer to home is the Oregon Shakespeare Festival located in Ashland, Oregon. Every year at the end of October you can enjoy on average over ten of Shakespeare's plays performed in both classic and newly imagined style. Separate tickets are needed for each show which is held at one of the event campus's two indoor or one outdoor spaces.

We love the OSF venues, productions and staff. Take the backstage tour if you can, fascinating. If you join with a donation you can get early bookings at reduced price.

Incredible production, highly recommend it. The acting was fantastic, the staging, casting...everything was top shelf.

“Taming of the Shrew with a modern twist”
Reviewed 27 May 2013

I brought a first time OSF goer to see this play. The play has been updated to a modern beach community with a rock and roll vibe. It made Shakespeare very accessible to a first timer.

“Wonderful plays”
Reviewed 19 May 2013

Pick the play you want and attend one a day. Unless you are a realy play person two in a day are too much. Very professional acting and great venue inside or out.

“Such talent”
Reviewed 14 May 2013

We were lucky enough to get tickets to Street Car Name Desire! It was wonderful, the acting, the actress that was Blanch was amazing. The entire cast was terrific too! One of our friends that typically naps during plays after dinner was engaged and totally alert during the performance. The staging was wonderful and the small intimate theatres are wonderful, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Very comfortable too! Can't wait to go back and see more plays...
