This is my kind of pizza: crust not too thick and not "in like thin"; lots of cheese and oil; tasty meats! Delivery is a plus. There are other pizza places in Ashland, but when I want one to take home, it's Gisseppi's!

Thank Ty M

This pizza place is by far the favorite for my family. They are sometimes a little greasy (nothing a napkin dab can't help) but their sauce flavor is absolutely amazing. I've tried pizza from every place in town and I'm sticking with these guys. Total dive inside, but they make the very best pizza!

Giseppi's is popular with the high school and college crowd because of its location, and it does have pizza by the slice, but it can be so greasy that you have to take a paper towel and blot the top of the slice before eating.

One of the greasy-est pizzas in town. Tastes good while it's hot, but becomes oily leather when it cools.

Yep, the previous reviewer hit it pretty much dead-on... it IS sad that Giseppi's is the best pizza in Ashland, because Giseppi's is average at best. They are fortunate that they're located where they are, because I'm not sure they'd make it in any town that had *good* pizza.

It's not that Giseppi's pizzas are BAD necessarily... more like 'okay' and VERY VERY greasy. The waitstaff is also of the 'young and pretty much indifferent' kind, last time I was there they left a topping off my pizza and boxed my order even though I said it was 'for here' twice.

Seating is very limited, consisting of four large picnic tables, basically. If you come for dinner, you probably will have to take it to-go, even though there really aren't that many people in the restaurant... it's not really set up for couples at all.

Despite Giseppi's misses, they'll be around, if only because Ashland just does not have a knock-down drag-out awesome pizza place... their prime competition is even more mediocre than they are (*cough* Great American Pizza Company *cough cough*).

If you are willing to drive one town over, the Grotto in Talent serves actually *good* pizza, but again, that is a few miles north.

Giseppi's COULD be good, but they seem happy being the best of a bad lot.
