Our group of 8 had a spectacular dinner at Coquina - pleasing everyone, even those who had a very bad (service too slow) experience 2 years ago and were prepared to dislike it. My husband characterized his foie gras appetizer as a taste adventure - he kept finding small bits of this or that on the plate, each enlivening and complimenting the flavor of the foie gras in a different way. Each plate of food is artfully arranged, which may be why it takes a full two hours for a three course meal - even during the shoulder season in Ashland. We're regulars at the Ashland dining scene, and this immediately became one of my favorites.
