“A great place to stay in Ashland.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2010

My wife and adult daughter stayed here when we were in Ashland to see a play. We got a King bed "suite", which is a large room with a separate kitchenette. We didn't use the kitchen, but the rollaway bed fit in there nicely, giving our daughter a little privacy.
The hotel is fairly new, the room was large and very quiet, even though the hotel is right next to the freeway.
The continental breakfast included many hot items, and was constantly restocked.
The staff were friendly and accomodating.

We stayed here for three days while at the Shakespeare festival. Though it's not within easy walking distance of the festival, the hotel is very convenient. It's clean and well kept. We had a king-size bed in a suite with a refrigerator, sofa, microwave, high-speed Internet connection, and two (!) flat-screen TVs, for around $145 a night. We needed to do a laundry, and the coin-operated washing machine and dryer on the first floor were just fine for our needs. We loved the roominess of our suite. The breakfast (included in the price) is generous -- mini-omelets, rolls, bagels, toast, cereals, juices, coffee, tea, sausage, and bacon.

My daughter & I stayed here when we attended the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It is not within walking distance of the festival but is a short drive. We had a suite. Both of us were pleased with the breakfast although I wished that their fruit selection wasn't limited to bananas. I booked here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed.

Just passing through and this hotel really was a great find. Nice size and clean room. Breakfast was surprisingly well appointed and tasty. Service was also very good...asked for extra towels and had them in less than three minutes. Overall, we will definitely return.

First time in Ashland . Was surprised at how nice and comfortable the large room was. While not downtown, the location was fine if you have a car. The service was great and the attude of the staff was "being there to help" particu;arly appreciated restaurant recommendations. The State Govt rate made it a great value! Would stay here again for sure.

Good, re-vamped Holiday Inn Espress just off I-5. We were in a suite and it was very nicely done for what it is. If you are wanting fancy, you can do better in Ashland, however you will pay substantially more. Very great location, free breakfast and it was nice having two TV's in the suite, one for sitting area, one in bed area. Internnet worked fantastic, fast and strong!

Nice older Holiday Inn Express. Comfy room and bed. The breakfast was awesome as usual. When we first walked in our room it had a faint odor that they had done their best to mask. I doubt that these places can ever get the cigarette smoke entirely out of these rooms.

This is a good motel if you simply want to sleep, have a great free breakfast and then get back on the freeway the next day.

Our next time through we are going to try The Green Springs Inn cabins that others have raved about here.
The are about an extra half hour drive east of the freeway.

Thanks for stopping bye.
