Our road trip took us to Ashland for some creative work; one of us uses a wheelchair, and the accessibility issues were daunting. This was our first two week trip, including driving, that exposed us to handicapped requirements. As lovely at the hotel was, and as great as the restaurant was, the dense carpets, distance from elevator and distance from bed to bathroom made our room arrangement too daunting. The staff was wonderful and we were very disappointed to leave a day early to find a "modern" hotel with easier access. I loved the lobby, the location was terrific and we would consider staying again if we could figure out the wheelchair! Loved the staff!

We stayed last weekend on a room and show package for the Oregon Cabaret Theatre. What a beautiful hotel. The rooms are small as many of the reviews have mentioned, however the decor and little touches are fabulous. We knew the year the hotel was built and knew it was an historic hotel so we weren't surprised at the size. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with information. The property was spic and span and the late night snacks were a nice touch after a late show since the town rolls up the carpet early. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definetely choose the location next time we are in Ashland.

The rooms here are spotless and wonderfully decorated. The suites are well worth the extra cost. AM breakfast is truely unbeatable so don't miss it! This is our 8th or 9th stay over several years and everything has been consistantly good. Though the spa across the street is of extra cost, it delivers great service as well.

It's a nice hotel -- good rooms, good service, good restaurant -- but the owners' commitment to Scientology taints the experience. In the guest rooms next to the bed (where most hotels place a Gideon bible), this hotel has a book about Scientology. At the front desk, there are booklets about Scientology. Most of the staff don't seem to support the owners' love for Scientology, but guests should be forewarned that their stay comes with promotion of this cult.

After many years of staying at B&B's in the Shakespeare theater town of Ashland OR, we decided to stay at the Ashland Springs this trip. The hotel reminded us of the kind of boutique hotel we like to stay in when traveling abroad. The decor is elegant yet comfortable, and the rooms are well appointed and quiet. Though not as big as what one gets at a B&B, the breakfast buffet (included in the price of the room) was more than adequate. But what we really appreciated was the customer service....everyone was very friendly and helpful. We're so glad that the Ashland Springs, previously named the Mark Antony, was saved from the wrecking ball. This historic hotel a a real jewel.
