We just came back from a relaxing weekend at the Ashland Springs Hotel. They had a winter special which included a standard room, $30 off dinner, 2 movie tickets to the Varsity theater, and breakfast for $119. The rooms are very small but comfortable. There is no place to put your toiletries in the bath room which is typical with the age of the hotel. Overall it is in a great location, lovely old time atmosphere, and nice employees.

We chose Ashland Springs for it's prime, central location, and were so happy with our decision. It turned out to be a rainy weekend, and it was the perfect base for short walks to theater, restaurants, shops. Our king room on the 4th floor offered nice view of the mountains across Main Street. The room wasn't large, but neat and cozy for two people. When I wanted a change of scenery for reading in the afternoon I walked downstairs to the gorgeous lobby, which is a bit like being in the parlor of a grand old mansion, with a crackling fire, comfortable seating areas, ornate architecture, and interesting collections on display. The old building certainly isn't sound-proof, but nothing really disturbed us. A bit of street noise, some internal sounds from pipes and such, but nothing to complain about. The service was excellent, desk personnel, housekeeping, breakfast staff - everyone was so nice and welcoming. The continental breakfast, served on the mezzanine, was perfect for me - hot or cold cereal, toast/bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and juice. But for a heartier breakfast we went out to please my teenager. Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The cost of the hotel was reasonable compared with the Ashland alternatives. One major benefit of this hotel is that it is walking distance to downtown Ashland area. We enjoyed walking to and from the festival, Lithia Park and the shopping areas and restaurants. The view from our room to the south and west was beautiful (we were on the 9th floor) and worth the little extra we paid.

The room was sufficient but a bit small. It was comfy and had a nice bathroom, king sized bed, TV and mini-refrigerator. We used the ironing board and iron and they worked fine. We both got very good sleep because of the quiet room and the very comfortable bed. They have done a good job refurbishing this 1920's era hotel. It isn't posh, but it is pleasant and comfortable. My wife didn't like the fact that there was not coffee maker in the room, but the free continental breakfast had plenty of good coffee and typical food of hotel/motel continental breakfasts.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The only issue we had were with the electronic keys that worked intermittently and had to be replaced (they worked fine after that), and the fact that the ice maker on the 3rd floor was broken. The elevator is a little squeaky but I felt perfectly safe.

We used the 10% off coupon that came with the room at the hotel restaurant Larks and had a very nice dinner. It was a bit pricy but the food, wine and service was very good. There was also a coupon for the spa which we didn't use.

Room Tip: I would get a view room again.

We loved staying here because it is right in the center of town, within walking distance to the theaters, shops and restaurants. It has on site parking, a.very nice restaurant and bar and comfortable rooms. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: The rooms are small unless you get a corner room.

We had a wonderful experience at Ashland Springs Hotel. My friends and I decided to have a bachelorette party getaway and while we were researching the area we contacted this hotel. The concierge Gigi set up an entire day for us, wine tasting, dinner reservations, and offered spa services. She did all the foot work for us, as well as meeting us at the entrance with a welcome smile. Thank you for all of your help we will definitely be staying with you again!

We stayed at the Ashland Springs Hotel for one night to go to the Oregon Cabaret. Wonderful stay in a vintage hotel. Very comfortable bed and beautiful vintage decor! Has a bed and breakfast feel. Quiet hotel with easy access to all of Ashland's attractions. Just a few steps to all the wonderful resturants that Ashland has to offer. Great breakfast included with the price with healthy breakfast choices. Could not ask or a better location or more comfortable clean room while visiting Ashland. Enjoy!
